ード部圧着装層に関関するものである。

プラスチック被覆鋼管は、鋼管の防食上極めて有効な手
段であり、地中埋設用、石油論送用などの比較的にメン
テナンスのし‘こくい場面での使用量が増大している。
このようなプラスチック被覆鋼管は、一般的には押出機
を利用してプラスチックを被覆しており、このときの対
象鋼管が継目のないものであるときには支障が起らない
が、継目のある溶接鋼管の場合では第1図に示したよう
にそのビードのふもと部分で鋼管と被覆層とが密着しな
いという現象がいよいよ発生する。

これの一対策方法としてはアンダーコート材が粘着剤の

ク被覆を行ったものの場合ではその部分が厚くなり耐衝
撃強度を低下させるという欠点がある。また中空ロール
を使用してビード部分を押圧し空隙を埋める解決法も提
案されているが、これはロール自身が内部流体圧により
異常に膨脹変形し、ビードに合った形に調整することが
困難であるばかりでなく、ロール過熱対策の冷却装置が
複雑となるなどの不都合があった。本発明者らは、円筒
形押出ダイスを用いたプラスチック被覆鋼管の製造方法
においてビード部分におけるプラスチック被覆膜厚に橋
肉を起さず、かつ鋼管との間に空隙を形成させない被覆
方法ないしその具体的手段につき検討を加えた結果、押
出ダイスに連接してプラスチック被覆鋼管を冷却するた
めのりング状水冷装置を配しかつ水冷期間中に鋼管ビー
ド部のふもと部分を押圧するための充実の弾性体ロール
を設けたプラスチック被覆鋼管のビード部圧着装置に到
達した。

As a result of considering specific measures, we decided to install a ring-shaped water cooling device connected to the extrusion die to cool the plastic-coated steel pipe, and to provide sufficient elasticity to press the base of the steel pipe bead during the water cooling period. We have arrived at a bead crimping device for plastic-coated steel pipes equipped with body rolls.

によってロールに対する冷却装置の新たな設置を省略で
きるのである。

軟かすぎてロールの変形が大きくなりビード部のふもと
部分を完全に押圧できないし、一方50より大きいとき
はロールの変形が起らず同じようにビード部のふもとま
で力が及ばないことになる。弾性体ロールの形状は、ビ
ードをはさんでその両側のふもと部分を押えられるよう
なものであればどのようなものでも良く特に限定される
ものではないが、一般的には第2図ないいま第4図に示
したものが使用される。

この場合はローラ7を固定する固定具の調節により径の
違った管にも転用できるものである。尚、第3図のロー
ラ7においてそを小さいものにし直接ビードのふもと部
分を押えつける方式が利用することも勿論可能である。
尚、第4図は径の異ったプラスチック被覆鋼管を処理す
る際にロールを取り変えることなく単にチャンネルをず
らせば良いようにしたロールの一例である。
