During the molding process of the insulator M, the small male contact S was made to fit a large amount of iron into a high-temperature mold in advance. This method requires time, causes problems such as changes in molding conditions, and has the trouble of removing burrs from the insulating material that adhere to the male contact S after the molding process. Next, Figure B shows the insulator M divided into two pieces. Even though the drawbacks of incorporating the male contact S by molding as shown in Figure A can be solved, dividing the insulator M into two pieces This makes the product expensive and requires work to mechanically fix the divided insulators M.

Embedding the male contact S in the insulator M is the same, but
Since the male contact S is molded and then bent at right angles, it is convenient that the male support contact S can be molded in a straight state, but the disadvantage is that the bent part is exposed and the bending process takes a long time. However, it has drawbacks such as being unsuitable for mass production. As mentioned above, there are many types of male connectors equipped with male contacts in which the contact part and the leg part are at right angles, but each of them has drawbacks, and the bimale contact in the male connector of the present invention has been improved. This is the method of feeding the child.

As described above, the present invention relates to a method for vertically aligning a large number of "shaped contacts" consisting of the vertical legs 6 and the contact parts 7 horizontally bent from the vertical legs 6 to the rectangular base 1. As shown in the figure, a large number of horizontal holes 2, 2' can be bored in parallel in the rectangular insulating base 11, the lengths of which are successively shortened from top to bottom, and the horizontal holes 2, 2 of each unit can be bored in parallel. A vertical hole 3 is bored through both of the holes 272', and projecting walls 4, 4' parallel to the horizontal holes 2, 2' are formed on the inner wall of each vertical hole 3 for each horizontal hole 272'.

A groove 10 is formed, and the circumferential surface of the end of each vertical leg 6 is formed into a tapered surface in the grooved portion to form a tapered portion 6a on each vertical leg. Each vertical leg 6 protrudes from the side.
A carrying piece 5a is formed which connects to the tapered part 6a of the contact part 7, and a protruding piece 9 is formed on both sides of each contact part 7.

Under the press-fitting of each contact portion 7 and the support of the vertical leg portion 6, the joint interface between the tapered portion 6a and the supporting piece 5a in the grooved portion, that is, the connection plate 5 as seen from the X-ray in the figure. The tapered portion 6a is left at the end of each vertical leg portion 6.

Unlike the case of dividing the insulator M shown in Figure B, the product does not become expensive, and no work is required to fix the divided insulator M. Various drawbacks such as the exposed curved portion and the impossibility of mass production are eliminated. Rectangular horizontal holes 2, 2' drilled in the insulating base 1
This method is most suitable when constructing a male connector by increasing the number of stages of 1-type male contacts with different dimensions, in which the upper and lower stages are successively shorter. Compared to the previous method of tacking, the efficiency of tacking is improved, and each male contact can be inserted accurately without any misalignment. The cutting can be carried out appropriately, and it is also possible to create a tapered part for an insertion guide at the end of each vertical leg 6 of the post-processing saw.

Due to the synergistic effect of the above, good separation property can be obtained on the line where the grooved part is arranged. That is, the separation position of the connecting plate 5 and the vertical leg part 6 is between the grooved part arranged on the above-mentioned - line and the groove 10.
The connection between the tapered part 6a and the supporting piece 5a in the processing section allows for precise guidance, and for example, by simply bending the connecting plate 5 slightly in one direction, the cutting can be easily cut from the end of the tapered part with extremely slight force under the above-mentioned support. It is possible to do this, and there is no need to repeat twisting for cutting. That is, as the connecting plate 5 is tilted, the supporting piece 5a is also bent, and depending on the inclination angle of the supporting piece 5a, it is concentrated on the weak bonding interface X between the supporting piece 5a and the tapered portion 6a that connects it. This provides a strong cutting force and can easily cause the above-mentioned separation. The above cut groove 10
groove processing, and the tapered part 6a and the supporting piece 5 in the groove processing part.
The process a provides the above-mentioned separation property and functions to accurately indicate the separation position, and the cutting is performed on the walls 4, 4 of the vertical leg portion 6.
The support provided by ', 8, 8' and the press-fitted fixation of the contact portion 7 ensure proper and stable operation.

成のための後加工を必要としない等の利点がある。Therefore, the fractured surface obtained by the above method is extremely beautiful, and does not generate any whisker-like fragments or burrs that are harmful to the functionality of the contact, and in addition, the cutting force causes bending deformation of the male contact end. The tapered part 6a, which can be suitably implemented for the price of fine and delicate contacts without causing any It is possible to have the function of guiding the insertion into the connecting holes of the printed circuit board, and when applying the above-mentioned shielding method, the contact piece may be bent or burrs may be formed at the cut part. Therefore, the insertion guide function is synergistically improved, and the tapered part 6a for insertion guide can be immediately processed at the end of the male contact group by cutting the band-shaped connecting plate 5. It has advantages such as not requiring post-processing for forming details.

In addition, since the long vertical leg portion 6 on the upper stage is supported by the projecting walls 4, 4' on the lower stage at a plurality of locations above and below, steady resting at the tapered portion can be ensured.
