Note that materials used as the base material 1 include, for example, paper cardboard, plastic cardboard, foamed plastic, etc.
For the skin material 2, a laminated product consisting of a surface material such as polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, knit fabric, or non-woven fabric and a cushion layer for the purpose of improving the feel such as urethane foam or PE foam is generally used in the manufacture of trims. It will be. In manufacturing such a laminated molded product, a jig as shown in FIGS. 2a and 2b, for example, is used.

That is, the pick-up tool 6 is made by arranging rectangular frames 6a and 6b in two stages, upper and lower, and connecting them with legs 7 at the four corners with a predetermined gap between them. A suitable number of needles or clips 8 are provided on the step part along its entire circumference, and the base material 1 and the skin material 2, which are sheet-like laminated materials, are respectively secured to the needles or clips 8 on their four sides. It is set by being forced to do so.
A rectangular sheet-shaped skin material 2 and a base material I each having a substantially flat surface that has not yet been formed into a final product shape are set in the respective frames 6a and 6b of such a jig 6. The skin material 2 and the base material 1 are connected by legs 7 of
After maintaining a predetermined gap between them, the common odor 6 is removed from a male and female mold (made of metal, resin, rubber, etc.) consisting of an upper mold 4 and a lower mold 5, as shown in FIG. 3a. It is placed between the forming molds).

Next, as shown in FIG. 3b, the upper mold 4 descends, and the convex shape of the mold first contacts the skin material 2, and as the upper mold 4 further descends, the skin material 2 is exposed to the transfer jig 6, An appropriate tension T is applied against the holding by the upper mold 6a, and finally the upper mold 4 descends, the core skin material 2 comes into contact with the base material 1, and the upper and lower molds 4, 5 The base material 1 is formed into a predetermined shape with an appropriate clearance as usual (see FIG. 3c). At this time, since the adhesive 3 is previously applied to the surface of the base material 1 to be mated with the skin material 2, the base material 1 and the skin material 2 are bonded together at the same time as the above-mentioned molding. As described above, according to the present invention, the base material 1 and the skin material 2 are press-molded while being held in a predetermined pick-up tool, so that molding and adhesion can be performed at once, which is different from conventional methods. Molding and adhesion, which previously required multiple steps, were reduced to a single step, making it possible to shorten the process and significantly reduce costs.

Incidentally, if the capital investment amount, space, number of workers, power, etc. in the conventional method are respectively 100 (index), the values of the present invention are 60, 40, 40,
This results in a marked decrease in the degree of phlegm. In addition, the skin material 2, which is prone to wrinkles, is pressed and molded onto the base material 1 while being subjected to appropriate tension by the contact and pressure of the upper mold 4 as a convex mold, so that wrinkles and tears are avoided. The occurrence can be effectively suppressed and the quality of the product can be significantly improved, for example, the conventional defect rate of 10% is reduced to 2% or less by the present invention. In addition, the lining tool 6 (
Specifically, the base material 1 held by the frames 6a, 6b)
The gap formed between the material 1 and the skin material 2 is adjusted by the length of the leg 7, and determined as appropriate so that appropriate tension is applied to each material 1 and 2 and the material is formed. It will be done. Note that during the molding according to the present invention, suitably heating the materials 1 and 2 to soften them has a positive effect on the molding operation, and is therefore preferably employed in the present invention. The heating of such material is usually carried out by the upper mold 4,
Prior to the press operation using the lower mold 5, the material set in the jig 6 is heated to a necessary degree in advance, or a heating mechanism is built into the upper and lower molds 4 and 5 to heat the material. This is done by heating and molding (hot pressing). In the above example, the upper die 4 of the molding press is movable, but the present invention is not limited to this in any way, and the lower die 5 may be made movable instead of the upper die 4. Furthermore, both the upper mold 4 and the lower mold 5 can be made movable.

Also, a jig 6 placed between the upper mold 4 and the lower mold 5
is preferably moved upward or downward as necessary depending on its arrangement position, so that it is located on the parting surface. In addition, the press molding machine may be one that also uses vacuuming. Further, in the above example, the skin material 2 contacts the upper mold 4 as a convex mold, and is pressed against the base material 1 under tension caused by being pressed against the holding by the jigs 6 and 6a. However, if the base material 1 can be stretched, the positions of the base material 1 and the skin material 2 are reversed, and the base material 1 is placed on the odor pickup 6 side on the upper mold 4 side as a convex mold. There is no problem even if it is held as such.

In addition, the jig 6 used is not limited to the one illustrated in FIG. 2, and may be used to laminate sheet-like materials such as base materials, skin materials, etc., by having a frame body and a spacing means such as legs to keep the frame body at a constant interval. If the materials can be set with a predetermined gap,
Any jig 6 can be used, and furthermore, such a jig 6
The structure is not limited to the two illustrated materials, but three or more materials may be set, and in that case, the foundation will be formed in multiple stages of three or more stages. In addition, the present invention can be implemented with various modifications based on the knowledge of those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit thereof.
