A high degree of reliability is required for sliding brushes used in potentiometers and many other products. By making point contact,
Since then, brushes have been developed that increase the stability of sharks. However, in order to manufacture such brushes, 20 to 100 ultra-fine wires of several tens of micrometers in diameter must be welded to the base material, resulting in extremely poor productivity, and the welds may be only partially welded or the welded parts may be damaged. If the ultra-fine wire is molded after welding due to excessive melting, it may fall off or break.

製造方法を提供せんとするものである。Therefore, careful attention must be paid to the operation of the electrode during welding, maintenance of the electrode surface, etc., making electrode management extremely troublesome and forcing the electrode to be replaced with a new one at an early stage. The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and the present invention is to manufacture a sliding brush that has good productivity, does not cause ultra-fine wires to fall off or break, is easy to manage electrodes, and can extend the period of electrode replacement. The purpose is to provide a method.

The material is wound around a drum, aligned, and successively welded to the base material using the drum as an electrode to make a band-shaped brush material, which is then cut as appropriate and shaped to make a brush for sake service. It is.

る。First, as shown in FIG. 1, grooves 2 with a width of 1.0 mm are sequentially inserted from the sides into flat grooves 2 provided at regular intervals on the outer peripheral surface of the drum 1.
A base material 3 having a thickness of 0.2 legs, a length of 5 ribs, and made of nickel silver is supplied, and is set with iron when the rotating drum 1 is intermittently stopped. At the same time, a large number of ultra-fine wires 4, in this example 26 ultra-fine wires made of wire diameter 0.080 and skin material Pd-RulOW/o, are arranged and concentrated approximately horizontally toward the rotating drum as shown by arrow A. Then wrap it around the drum. At this time, flanges a on both sides of drum 1
The height h is 0.05 sail, which is higher than the wire radius of ultra-fine wire 4,
The width W between the flanges la is 2.0
Since the width of 8 is equal to the entire width of the superfine wire 4, the superfine wire 4 that has been wound is finally trimmed at the same position on the outer periphery of the drum 1. At the same time as this alignment, the superfine wire 4 comes into contact with the base material 3, and at this point, electricity is applied to the lower electrode 5 using the drum 1 as the upper electrode, and the superfine wire 4 is welded to the base material 3. Thereafter, by intermittent rotation of the drum 1, the base material 3 set in the groove 2 of the drum vine and the Shuto ultra-fine wire turtle wound around the drum are welded to form a band-shaped brush material 6.
is made and sent as shown by arrow B in Fig. 1.Then, this brush material 6 is cut with the ultra-fine wire 4 as appropriate and subjected to molding processing to become the required sliding brush. In the example, the drum 1 is used as the upper electrode for welding the base material 3 and the Shuto ultra-fine wire 4, but the base material 3 and the Shuto ultra-fine wire 4 may be used for welding as the lower electrode. As can be seen from the explanation, the manufacturing method of the present invention involves winding a large number of ultra-fine wires that are aligned and concentrated approximately horizontally around a drum, aligning them for the final time, and sequentially placing them on a base material that is set in a groove provided on the outer circumferential surface of the drum. Since the brush material is made by uniformly and reliably lacquering, and then cut and molded as appropriate, brushes for off-duty work can be produced extremely efficiently, and productivity is high.

折れたりすることがないものである。In addition, as mentioned above, a large number of ultra-fine wires arranged horizontally and concentrated are reliably welded to the base in one place and uniformly, so unlike conventional methods, welding is done only partially or the welded part melts too much. Therefore, the ultra-fine wire will not fall off or break.

It has excellent effects such as being rough and making it possible to lengthen the electrode replacement period.
