[Detailed Description of the Invention] In a barrel-like object handling device having a storage space with multiple rows, multiple stages, and multiple depths, a stacker crane or the like is used to reach a predetermined frontage (storage space designated for a certain row or stage). As methods for storing barrels after they have been transported by a lifting and traveling device, there have conventionally been methods for storing the barrels using a traveling cart that travels within the rack, and methods for rolling the barrels to the back of the rack by an operator.

First of all, Fig. 1 shows a cross-sectional view of a rack in an example of storage in a subordinate trolley system, where 1 is a barrel-shaped object, 2 is a pillar, 3 is a dolly rail,
4 is playing and 5 is dolly. Figure 2 shows a cross-sectional view of the rack in an example of storage in the conventional worker rolling system.
6 is a support rail, 7 is a cross beam, and 8 is a walkway for workers.
Note that the days in FIG. 1 are the height of days required to store the barrel-shaped object 1 in one stage. is the required storage height of barrel-shaped object 1 only, H
D is the required height for dolly travel, W in Figure 2 is the height required for storing two rows, and Wo is the height required for storing one row of barrels 1.
WM is in the worker's passage. In the cart system shown in FIG. 1, an extra height HD is required as a space for the dolly 5 supporting the barrel-shaped object 1 from below to travel. Furthermore, since the dolly 5 carries the barrel-like object 1 and travels on the dolly rail 3, a concentrated load greater than the weight of the barrel is applied, which tends to make the members of the dolly rail 3 larger than necessary. Next, in the worker rolling method shown in Fig. 2, the barrel-shaped object 1 is carried from the side of the shelf to the back while being transferred, so that one row of workers walks for every two rows of shelves. needed space for. Both in the case of FIG. 1 and in the case of FIG. 2, extra space must be taken up, resulting in poor storage efficiency and a disadvantage that the total weight of the shelf member becomes quite large. The present invention was proposed in order to eliminate the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, and aims to fully automate the storage of barrel-shaped objects, minimize the extra space to improve storage efficiency, and improve the characteristics of barrel-shaped objects ( It is an object of the present invention to provide a barrel-shaped object handling device that takes a conveying form that makes full use of its rolling properties and that aims to reduce the weight of shelf constituent members (particularly support rails).

The present invention will be described below with reference to embodiments shown in the drawings. In addition, in the apparatus shown in FIGS. 3 to 8 showing the embodiment of the present invention, the first
The same parts as those of the conventional apparatus shown in FIGS. Now, Figure 3 is a side view of the rolling storage trolley.
FIG. 4 shows a front view and a sectional view of the rack, and shows the traveling bogie 9.
A traveling drive system and a barrel rolling device rotation drive system (not shown) are installed inside the main body of the vehicle, and a detection device 10 for detecting the presence of a barrel-like object 1 is provided in front of the traveling trolley 9. It is being Further, a transfer device support 11 is attached to the top of the traveling cart 9 in a state overhanging the barrel-shaped object 1, and a plurality of transfer devices 12 are attached to the support 11 (
It is installed according to the number of barrels to be handled + 1) and the pitch of barrel storage. The rolling device 12 is located at a position where it contacts the barrel-shaped object 1 during loading and unloading operations and transfers the barrel-shaped object 1, and at a position inside the saddle moving device support 11 so that it can pass over the barrel-shaped object 1 without hitting it when returning. It can be rotated to two positions, the stored position and the stored position, and is driven by the traveling trolley 9.
This is done by a drive system (not shown) for rotating the barrel rolling device installed inside. In addition, the tip transfer device 13 of the rolling device 12 has a function of detecting the barrel-shaped object 1 already stored in the shelf during the storage operation and stopping the traveling cart 9. Note that the number of handling vehicles 9 is not limited to the two shown in the illustration. Also, 14 in the figure
is the running wheel, Day 2 in Fig. 4 is the height required to store the barrel-like object 1 in one stage, Ho is the required height for storing only the barrel-like object 1, and HA is the height of the rolling device support 11. This is the required height for entry.Next, the effect will be explained.

First, the warehousing pattern will be explained with reference to the warehousing pattern warehousing operation explanatory diagram shown in FIG. 5 and the same return operation explanatory diagram shown in FIG. 6. In FIG. It shows a state in which the barrel-shaped object 1 closest to the entrance, which is already stored on the shelf, is transported by rolling on the rail 6 as shown by the arrow as shown by the arrow. ' is detected and the traveling carriage 9 is stopped. Next, a drive system for rotating the barrel rolling device (not shown) is activated, and the transferring device 12 is rotated and stored inside the rolling device support 11. Next, the traveling carriage 9 travels in the opposite direction as shown by the arrow in FIG. 6 and returns. Since the rolling device 12 is retracted during this return, it does not hit the barrel-shaped object 1. Therefore, the barrel-shaped articles 1 remain on the in-shelf supports 6 and are stored. Next, the delivery pattern is shown in Fig. 7, which is an explanatory diagram of the delivery pattern return operation.
To explain the explanatory view of the unloading operation shown in FIG. 8, FIG. 7 shows a state in which the traveling cart 9 is traveling toward the back on the support rail 6 of the storage shelf as indicated by the arrow.

At this time, the rolling device 12 is stored inside the support holder 11. Now, as described above, the traveling truck 9 is traveling, and when the detection device 10 attached to the front of the truck detects the barrel-shaped object 1' closest to the entrance where it is stored, the traveling truck 9 stops traveling. Next, the transfer device 12 is rotated to a position where it comes into contact with the barrel-shaped object 11, and the traveling cart 9 is run in the direction of the arrow in FIG. He was transferred and transported like this. As explained in detail above, the present invention does not transport barrel-shaped objects using a dolly as in the past, but instead uses a traveling carriage that runs on support rails using the storage space of the barrel-shaped objects as a travel space. Excess equipment space in the storage space can be reduced.

When storing a barrel-shaped object in a storage shelf, the height shown in Fig. 1 was required in the subordinate trolley system, but with the present invention, the height is only 2 (<day,), which is smaller than the conventional method. It is possible to reduce unnecessary space and improve storage efficiency, and there is no need for a worker passage like in the past, making it possible to automate loading and unloading. In addition, since the transferability of barrel-like objects is utilized using a transfer device, the transport load on the trolley can be reduced.Furthermore, since the barrel-like objects are not loaded onto a traveling trolley as in the past, it is easier to support the objects. The concentrated load on the rail is also 4.5 times smaller than in the past, so the support rail can be made lighter than in the past. Note that the present invention is effective when applied to a dolly for running inside a rack (particularly in the case of a tunnel storage type) in a device for handling cylindrical or barrel-shaped objects.
