Not only is it difficult to test continuously, but the degree of skewing of the paper sheet varies each time the test is performed, making it impossible to accurately adjust the sensitivity of the checking device.

To provide a test method for a paper sheet skew check device in which the above-mentioned drawbacks are eliminated by sending a sheet into the conveyance path and causing a pseudo skew state to appear through the paper imitation process. This is the purpose.

, 6b'. - On the other hand, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the simulated paper leaf 7 has a colored band 7a colored in a light-blocking color such as black diagonally formed in the center,
Various types of formation angle 0, width W, and color density of the colored band 7a are available.Furthermore, there are translucent margins 7b, 7b' above and below the colored band 7a in the figure. is provided. Since the cash counter I has the above-described configuration, when the paper sheet 3 is sent in the direction A without causing skew in the paper straw conveyance path 2, the paper 3 first passes through the paper sheet skew check device. 5, the light emitting part 6a and the light receiving part 6 of the sensor 6

Because it is set to be slightly larger than the paper leaf 3
If no skew occurs, the sheet 3 enters the sensor 6' after passing through the sensor 6, and the lights 9, 9' of the sensors 6, 6' are not blocked. Next, when a paper sheet 3' is fed obliquely through the conveyance path 2, due to the oblique movement of the paper sheet 3', the sheet 3' passes through the sensor 6 before it reaches the sensor 6. 'The lights 9 and 9' are both blocked, and the skew check device 5 recognizes that the paper sheet 3' is skewed through the light receiving sections 6b and 6b'.The skew check device 5 checks the skew of the paper sheet 3' as described above, but when testing whether the skew check function of the device 5 is working correctly, the simulated paper sheet 7 is placed in the conveyance path 2. It is sent out in a normal manner with no skew.

正確な調整が可能となる。Then, since the margin parts 7b and 7b'' of the paper sheet 7 have translucency, even if the paper sheet 7 is fed in the direction A, the margin part 7
b, 7b' transmit the light 9, 9' from the sensors 6, 6' directly to the light receiving parts 6b, 6b', so the sensors 6, 6'
' does not recognize the paper sheet 7. On the other hand, since the colored band 7a of the paper sheet 7 has a light-shielding property, the permeability of the lights 9 and 9' is poor. Moreover, if the paper sheet 7 is fed in the direction A without being skewed, the colored band 7a will be slanted. Since the colored band 7a blocks both the lights 9 and 9', a pseudo skewed state appears, and the check device 5 immediately detects and recognizes the skewed state. 7 to test the checking function of the device 5, the formation angle 8 of the colored band 7a
The width W corresponds to the degree of oblique feeding of sheet 3, and the width W corresponds to the degree of skew of sheet 3.
By varying the angle 8 and the width W, it is possible to create various oblique states of paper sheets having various dimensions. By changing the density, it is possible to easily deal with variations in light transmittance caused by the paper thickness, paper quality, printing conditions, etc. of the paper sheets 3, 3', and therefore the sensitivity of the checking function of the checking device 5. etc. can be measured and adjusted more accurately. This skew check device is constructed like a known cash dispenser, so that when skew is detected by the output of a sensor, the banknotes up to the time of detection are rejected into a reject box without being ejected into a banknote discharge port, for example. By doing so, you can check to what extent the device can tolerate skew. As explained above, according to the present invention, “
A simulated sheet of paper 7 consisting of transparent margins 7b, 7b' and a colored band 7a colored in a light-blocking color and formed diagonally is used to create a pseudo slanted state. Since the leaf skew check device 5 was tested, the paper sheets 3 and 3' were placed in the skew state one by one as in the conventional method.
Not only does this eliminate the need to feed the simulated paper sheets 7 into the transport path 2, but even when testing is to be carried out continuously, it is only necessary to continuously feed the simulated paper sheets 7 into the conveying path 2, so that the test can be carried out efficiently. In addition, the pseudo oblique state is the colored band 7 of the simulated paper sheet 7.
Once the forming angle 8, width W, and color density of a are determined, they are determined uniquely, so there is no difference in the degree of skew of the sheet each time the test is performed, and the sensitivity of the checking device 5 is improved. etc. can be adjusted accurately.
