The conventional method of offshore land reclamation is to first construct a retaining structure or a revetment around the reclaimed site, and to heap the earth and sand up to a certain height within this, a transport ship transports the earth and sand, and the work is carried out to prevent obstacles for the transport ship to discharge the earth and sand. Once the area was filled up, a sand pump was used to push the soil up and fill it up.
Therefore, in order to carry out such various operations continuously, a method is widely used in which a discharge pipe is attached to a suction pump (also called a sand pump) and the pipe is placed within the reclaimed area to discharge the earth and sand. However, this conventional method requires the sand pump to have a large capacity for discharging distance, and the fuel and costs required for this are enormous, and the possible discharging distance is limited depending on the quality of the material used for landfilling. This change has a great effect on the difficulty of construction work, and when it is necessary to extend the discharge distance, a transfer pump must be added, which requires a lot of effort and expense. The present invention aims to obviate the above-mentioned drawbacks by providing an easy-to-implement offshore reclamation method. The marine reclamation method of the present invention will be explained below based on the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a schematic plan view, and FIG. 2 is a sectional view taken along line 1-1 of FIG. A connecting part 4 between a reclaimed land 2 and land 3 in the sea 1 is surrounded by a barrier 5, and these reclaimed land 2 and connected part 4 are isolated from the open sea 1. Next, a carrier 6 is placed inside the barrier 5 (gates for entry and exit are not shown), and the carrier 6 transports the sand from the land 3 to the destination. 7 is a partition wall that forms an outbound route 8 and a return route 9.

By repeating this transportation, the sea level within the barrier wall 5 rises by the amount of earth and sand that is dropped. Therefore, regardless of the height of the earth and sand piled up on the reclaimed land, seawater is always present on the earth and sand, so the situation where the bottom of the carrier vessel 6 gets stuck and the earth and sand cannot be loaded and unloaded will not occur, and the necessary Reclamation work can be carried out up to the reclamation height a using only the transport ship 6. In addition, if the barrier 5 is reclaimed to a certain extent by the carrier ship 6 while the barrier 5 is in motion, the construction period will be shortened, and even after the barrier 5 is completed, the soil on the water bottom around the barrier 5 will be slurried while being transported by the carrier boat 6 mentioned above. If it is pumped up and supplied, it will be economical and the construction period will be shortened.

When the required landfill height a is reached, the remaining seawater inside the barrier wall 5 is discharged using a pump or the like. As described above, according to the method of the present invention, the offshore reclaimed land and the connecting part with the offshore reclaimed land are surrounded by a barrier wall, the offshore reclaimed land and the connected part are isolated from the open sea, and a carrier ship is placed inside the barrier wall. Since the earth and sand are transported from the land to the destination in the offshore landfill through the passage, even if the earth and sand is piled up in the offshore landfill by a transport ship, the height of the earth and sand will be reduced.
Regardless of this, there will always be seawater on top of the sand.

Therefore, there is no situation where the transport ship becomes obstructed and cannot be loaded or unloaded, and the reclamation work can be carried out by the transport ship alone to the required reclamation height. Moreover, since the transport ship can freely reach any location within the landfill, uniform landfilling is possible, and the discharge of seawater after the landfill is easy because it is dumped from a high position to a lower sea level.
