Description
【発明の詳細な説明】
この発明は、厚板J形またはU形開先のガス加工法にか
んするものである。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a gas machining method for J-shaped or U-shaped grooves in thick plates.
従来、一般のJ形またはU形開先の加工法は、ガスガウ
ジングと直線ガス切断との組合せにより加工している(
第1図参照)が、そのガウジング面が半円状であり、ガ
ス切断トーチを斜上方から作動させ、上記半円の切線方
向に母材を切断させている(第2a図参照)。Conventionally, the general method for processing J-shaped or U-shaped grooves is a combination of gas gouging and straight gas cutting.

グが難しく、第2b図に示す如く切断線が極くわずかで
もずれると半円溝とも切り落してしまうためV形開先と
なり、溶接による肉盛の手直しが要求されることになる
。また逆に第2c図に示す如く、切断線が半円溝の上部
に到着してJ形関先が得られなくなり、溶接時綾込み不
良を起しやすい。また第2d図に示すように半円溝に対
し接線となるよう理想的に切断してもドロスが直接ガウ
ジング面に流れ込み損傷を与えることもあるため、これ
を防ぐよう微妙に切断しなければならず、如何に切断酸
素噴流を調節しても適正な切断条件を設定することは非
常に困難であった。さらに半円簿といってもその全板中
にわたって均一ではなく、半円溝の接線方向に切断する
のは実質的には不可能である。この発明は上記欠点の除
去のためになされたもので、ガスガウジングとガス切断
を併用するJ形またはU形開先の加工において、接合端
口のJ形またはU形関先の底部曲線の一部となる個所に
直線部を有する半長円形のガスガゥジングを施すことを
特徴とするものである。次にこの発明の一実施例を第3

This invention was made in order to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, and in processing a J-shaped or U-shaped groove using both gas gouging and gas cutting, a part of the bottom curve of a J-shaped or U-shaped joint at the joint end. It is characterized by applying gas gouging in the form of a semi-ellipse with a straight line section. Next, a third embodiment of this invention will be described.

く、また従釆のV開先削成と同様なガス切断条件で簡便
