It is mainly composed of a molding mold made up of a mold, and a transfer means that moves in contact with both sides of a fin-like plate extending outward from the core mold. Two sheets are supplied as an outer layer material and an inner layer material to the above-mentioned mold, and a foaming resin liquid is injected between these sheets. The end portion of the sheet extending to the fin plate is held in a state in contact with both sides of the fin-like plate, and the foamable resin liquid is foamed and hardened in the mold while being transferred by the transfer means. This is done by continuously pulling from the mold. However, even when using such a device, it is difficult to uniformly and sufficiently fill the foam in the mold, the generation of "stains" is difficult to avoid, and it is difficult to obtain a foam with a uniform density in the length direction. It had the disadvantage of being difficult to deal with.

It has a total of four end pieces, both ends of the outer layer material and both ends of the inner layer material, but if one end of the outer layer material is left and the other three pieces are cut, a heat insulating cover as shown in Fig. 1 can be obtained. In the apparatus of the present invention, a cutting means for this purpose can be provided at an appropriate location ahead of the molding means in the direction of travel. In addition, in the present invention, the notch of the external mold is initially made wide in the middle and gradually becomes narrower as it progresses in the direction of movement to avoid the formation of cavities due to gas accumulation and space accumulation. This is more preferable in that the foam fills every corner of the space formed by the material.

である。The apparatus for manufacturing a heat insulating cover of the present invention is as described above, and in particular, the fin plate of the columnar core mold of the molding means is provided only in the front half of the columnar core mold, and the conveying means is arranged behind it. Therefore, in the uncured stage as it progresses through the mold,
Since the outer layer material is not pulled by a tensioning machine, uniform filling of the foam is not inhibited by local stress, and even details can be filled with the foam.

が出来るのである。In addition, in the conveying means, the ends of the outer layer material and the inner layer material are not held by intervening fin-like plates as in the conventional method.
Since only the ends of these outer and inner layer materials can be kept for a long time, uneven transfer speeds caused by friction between the ends and the fins, such as when pulling with fins interposed, can be avoided. This makes it possible to transfer the molding material extremely smoothly and in a stable manner without causing any problems. .. Thus, according to the apparatus of the present invention, it is possible to uniformly fill the foam to the smallest detail without the generation of soot, and also to make the foam density uniform in all axial directions, thereby producing a heat insulating cover of excellent quality. It can be done.
