きたので、従来の機械式ミシンに比して非常に多数の模

表示部と、模様選択されたことを個々に示す確認灯部と
が必要である。電子ミシンが数多くの模様情報を内蔵す
るようになってくると上記した諸必要部村も多くなる。
しかしミシン前面に備えうる模様選択装置のためのスペ
ースには限度があり、またやたらに多くの模様を表示さ
せると上記選択に必要な部村個々が甚だ小さくなり選択
がしにくくなる。一方「模様個々について必要度を考え
ると上記数多くの模様の中には、使用頻度の大なるもの
もあるが、特殊用途のみに使われるとか、好みにより使
われるとかの使用頻度の小なるものもある。本発明は上
記使用頻度を考慮して、数多〈の模様を内蔵した電子ミ
シンに応用するに好適な模様選択装置を提供したもので
あり、すなわち使用頻度大の模様は模様パネル上に個々
の模様選択スイッチを表示部と確認灯部とを組にして設
け、使用頻度小なる模様の選択のためには、その選択の
ための専用的な多数の模様選択スイッチや確認灯を模様
毎に設けることなく「上記使用頻度大の模様選択のため
の模様選択スイッチを切替スイッチにて切替えて使用頻
度小の模様の呼び出し装置に機能させるとともにミシン
機枠上の適所に設けた7セグメントの数字表示等による
模様番号表示装置によって選択を確認するようにしたも
のである。尚、ミシン機枠上の適所例えば開閉可能なミ
シン天板蓋の裏面等に使用頻度小の模様の各模様番号に
対応させて図柄及び必要によりその図柄の縫製上の説明
記事等を表示しておけば一層便利になるものである。以

0″で表示され「又右方位置(以後第2位置と呼ぶ)に
移動操作すると、第2図の如く数字0〜9が表示されて
いるところの前記ボタンの連続2回の組合わせ操作によ
って第二群模様をその数字が示す2桁信号によつて選択
し表示装置1翼,12に表示するための暦数キーとして
機能させる如く切替えるものとし、更に該操作部13は
前記右方位置より更に右方の右端位置までばね力に抗し
て操作することが可能であり、この操作はミシンにおい
て常時開放姿勢へとばね使用をうけている如く設けられ
たミシンの夫板蓋14の閉鎖状態ラッチを第1図の如く

一群模様の中から当該操作に対応の模様を選択する第一
群模様選択制御部と、前記機能切替操作部が前記模様選
択操作部をして前記第二群模様選択用に切替えていると
き前記模様選択操作部がその各々に割当てられている数
値に基づいて操作されたことによる数値指定をもつて前
記第二群模様の中から当該値指定による番号の模様を選
択する第二群模様選択制御部と、前記第一群模様選択制
御部によつて選択された当該模様を前記模様選択操作部
の各々に対応して表示する確認表示部と、前記第二群模
様選択制御部によつて選択された当該模様を模様番号を
もつて表示する数字表示部と、ミシン内部に格納されて
いて模様番号と模様との対応を標識にしているものであ
