The present invention has discovered that easily available electrolyte salts have the effect of repelling gastropods, and using this repellent, it is easy to handle, that is, easy to form, easy to install, and is water resistant after installation. To provide a method for repelling gastropods that can be used in any place and has a long-lasting effect.

As the rubber or plastic, those generally used as adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives are preferred. The amount of the binder to be used should be such that the electrolyte salts do not collapse as a membrane-like aggregate, and should be adjusted as appropriate. Usually, the amount is about 5-2% by weight based on the electrolyte salt. Membrane-like aggregates of electrolyte salts are laid in a strip shape at positions that prevent gastropods from entering and obstruct their path. If the width of this band-like shape is too narrow, it will not be a problem for a snail, for example, but the slug will touch the ground with its head and tail and raise its abdomen in an arch shape to get over the bedding band. 1- from the body length
Set it to 2 arcs less, for example 3 arcs. The amount of the laying belt to be laid does not need to be particularly specified, but generally the solid content after drying is about 0.02 - 0.06 tano. The amount of laying below is expressed by the solid weight after drying. Rubber or plastic as a binder is water resistant, so when used outdoors, the aggregates will not collapse due to rainwater, etc. However, since the surface of the electrolyte salt is slightly soluble in rainwater, etc., the binder should not be used outdoors. The amount of 10-30% by weight or more, the amount of laying is 0
.. 04-08 evening/It is more certain to see carp or more. Film-like aggregates of electrolyte salts can be laid directly on dirt floors, buildings, equipment, trees, etc. in the path of gastropods, or
Alternatively, a repellent sheet is prepared by spreading the repellent sheet in advance as a film-like aggregate on paper, cloth, plastic, or other sheet substrates with the same effect, and this sheet is placed on the path of gastropods and spread indirectly. A repellent sheet is more convenient to carry and handle, and if it is formed into a long sheet, it has the advantage of being able to be cut out and used as needed. If a flexible binder such as rubber is used, it can be bent and rolled up. The electrolyte salts of the present invention include:
Simple salts of sodium, magnesium, calcium, aluminum, iron, copper, zinc, tin, lead, ammonium groups, etc.
Double salts or complex salts can be used.

(The amount of rubber is % by weight of salts), and apply this on a piece of cardboard with a brush, leaving a space of 15 mm square and drawing a frame 3 squares wide around it (the amount of rubber applied is 0.04 square meters). After drying, I put two slugs in the frame, placed many slices of slugs in the frame, darkened the whole thing, and left it for one hour while observing it from time to time, and both slugs remained in the frame. It was determined that electrolytes have a repellent effect. When a slug touches the frame using electrolyte salts that have a repellent effect, it shrinks its body, moves away from the frame, turns around, and repeats the behavior of touching the frame again and moving away.
It never goes out of bounds. If the slug has a particularly strong repellent effect, it will shrink its body as soon as it touches the frame, and will not be able to move away from the frame and stretch its body easily. Preliminary experiments have revealed that the repellent effect of electrolyte salts is more effective against snails and snails than against slugs.
The electrolyte salts used in the above experiment were sodium chloride,
Sodium sulfate, sodium carbonate, trisodium phosphate,
Alkali metal single salts such as sodium silicate, sodium borate, sodium thiosulfate, sodium oleate, sodium polyacrylate, potassium chloride, dipotassium phosphate, alkali metal salts such as potassium sodium tartrate, ammonium sulfate, ammonium carbonate, Ammonium salts such as ammonium chloride and ammonium acetate, tin salts such as stannous chloride and tin chloride, alkali metal salts such as magnesium chloride, magnesium sulfate, magnesium acetate, calcium chloride, and calcium nitrate, and aluminum sulfate. , potassium aluminum sulfate (potassium sulfate), ammonium aluminum sulfate (ammonium sulfate), and other ammonium monosalts and enoki salts, and steels such as copper chloride, copper sulfate, zinc chloride, zinc sulfate, lead acetate, and ferric chloride. salts, zinc salts, lead salts, iron salts, and alkali chain salts such as disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, all of which have been found to have a repellent effect on gastropods. Among them, chlorides of alkali metals and tin, such as sodium chloride, potassium chloride, stannous chloride, and tin chloride, showed a strong repellent effect.
Other alkali metal salts, ammonium salts, aluminum salts, and iron salts also showed excellent effects. Example 1 Thirty slugs are placed in a plastic container with 40 antennae and a height of 30 arcs.

A sample of the present invention was coated in a headband shape, and the amount of laying was 0.03 days per unit), and the other pot was placed as a control sample in a plastic container and the whole was darkened. potassium, magnesium, calcium, aluminum,
It was discovered that simple salts, pure salts, or complex salts of iron, iron, zinc, lead, ammonium groups, etc. have the effect of repelling gastropods, and they were made into powder and combined with rubber or plastic as a binder, so they were laid. It can be easily installed in any place or shape of equipment, and since the rubber or plastic is water resistant, the electrolyte salt aggregates will not disintegrate due to rainwater, etc., making it durable even outdoors. .
