フライバックトランス4は陰極線管で高圧を供給する高
圧出力巻線4a、他の回路へ電源を供給するための電源
用巻線4b、保護回路供給用巻線4cを二次巻線として
有する。6は上記電源用巻線4bに接続された整流回路
、8は映像出力回路や音声出力回路等の負荷を表わし、
上記整流回路6はこの整流回路6および負荷8に異常が
生じたとき火災等の危険をなくすための保護抵抗6cと
、整流用ダイオード6aと、平滑用コンデンサ6bによ
り構成されている。

して高くなり、基準電圧と比較している保護回路5が作
動して水平発振回路1を停止させ、X線洩れを停止させ
るものである。一方、負荷8である映像出力回路、音声
出力回路等を構成するトランジスタがショートしたとき
あるいはダイオード6a、コンデンサ6bがショートし
たときに抵抗6cに大電流が流れ、このため金属皮膜抵
抗であるこの抵抗6c(たとえば1/2W、10)が断
線して、電流を遮断するものであった。

抵抗6cを除去し、かつ比較回路5aに基準電圧して十
B電圧を用いる代り1こ整流回路6の出力を用いた点に
特徴を有する。ここで異常高圧が生じ巻線4aの出力が
増えると、これにほぼ比例して巻線jaの出力電圧も増
加し、一方整流回路6の出力は比較回路5a内に設けた
ッェナーダィオードによる安定化回路によりほぼ一定電
圧となっているので、この整流回路6の出力である基準
電圧に比して巻線4cの出力電圧が大きくなり、この差
を検知して保護回路5は水平発振回路1を停止させるよ
う出力を出すものである。
