いて説明する。This type of expansion/contraction device has a wave-shaped clearance c, so that tire depression is small and the running performance of the vehicle is good, but it is difficult to construct. That is, when pouring concrete b onto the back of the corrugated end plate a, in order to prevent concrete leakage, a weir plate f standing up from the bottom of the notch step e is fixed at the lower end. The bottom surface of step e is generally uneven, so it is difficult to fix the weir plate, and gaps tend to form between the bottom surface of step e and shear plate f, which requires a lot of time and effort to install. There is. Moreover, since the post-cast concrete b is divided into the front part of the weir plate f, that is, the back part g on the convex side of the corrugated end plate a, and the back part h of the weir plate f, there is a problem that the strength of the concrete is reduced. . In view of this, an object of the present invention is to provide a method for constructing a road joint expansion/contraction device that can be constructed easily and quickly without using the above-mentioned weir plates. That is, in the present invention, a gap insertion material made of styrofoam material or the like is inserted between the paper grain gaps, and a vertical end plate with a cushioning material fixed to the bottom surface is placed on top of the gap insertion material so that the upper green edge is higher than the road surface. This vertical end plate is pressed down together with the gap insertion material, and the gap insertion material is press-fitted into the gap so that the insertion depth becomes deep, and the vertical edge is compressed by compressing the cushioning material. It is characterized in that the upper edge of the face plate is aligned with the road surface, and a concrete material is cast on the back surface of the vertical end face plate. In other words, the upper end edge of the vertical end plate is accurately positioned at a desired height by increasing the insertion depth of the play material and by compressing the cushion material. Embodiments of the present invention will be described below based on the drawings.

。Reference numeral 2 denotes a foamed polystyrene gap insertion material inserted into the seam gap 3 in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped, on which a pair of corrugated end plates 5, 5 are layered with a cushioning material 4 interposed therebetween.
The convex portions 5a and concave portions 5b of the corrugated end plates 5, 5 are opposed to each other, and between them, an elastic plate 6 having a U-shaped cross section formed of a flexible material such as rubber extends both sides of the corrugated end plates. The end faces are baked and interposed, and concrete materials 7, 7 are pounded on the back. 8 is a concrete slab, and 9 is a pavement.

The gap insertion material 2 has a slightly wider inside than the seam gap 3, and the upper surface of the gap insertion material when inserted into the seam gap 3 is positioned above the bottom surface of the notch step IQ. The height of the gap insertion material 2 is set so that the upper ends of the corrugated end plates 5, 5 placed thereon extend 10 to 2 scales above the surface of the pavement 9.

After adjusting the height of the corrugated end plates 5, 5 as described above, the anchor bars 11 are made to protrude from the back surface of the corrugated end plates.
, 11 are welded together with the through reinforcements 12 to the U-shaped reinforcements 13 that protrude from the bottom of the groove 0, and a concrete layer 7 is placed on the back of the corrugated end plate to a height that matches the surface height of the pavement 9. Complete the construction of the road joint expansion device by pouring.

The end surfaces of the floor slabs 8, 8 have small irregularities and are high, exhibiting sliding resistance, and the gap insertion material 2 may not go down to a predetermined depth and stop midway, but in that case, the cushion material 4 is compressed. The green height of the upper end of the corrugated end plates 5 and 6 matches the height of the road surface.

In addition, in the above construction, the joint gap 3 and the corrugated end plates 5 and 5 are formed by the gap insertion material 2 and the cushion material 4.
Since the gap between the lower end of and the bottom of the notch step 10 is closed,
There is no fear that the poured concrete material 7 will leak into the joint gap 3.

Even if the corrugated end plates 5, 5 come out, the bottom surfaces of the corrugated end plates 5, 5 are sealed by the cushioning material 4, so that the concrete material 7 does not flow into between the corrugated machine surfaces 5, 5 when concrete material 7 is poured.

The present invention is applicable not only to steel bridges formed by pouring concrete slabs 8 onto steel girders, but also to other monuments such as PC (prestressed concrete) bridges and RC (reinforced concrete) bridges. can do. In addition, as the vertical end plate, in addition to the corrugated end plate 5 shown in the above embodiment, a flat end plate without a bent portion may be used.
The cushion material 14 may be molded from a foamed plastic material or a rubber material other than foamed polystyrene, and the cushion material 14 may also be molded from a stretchable material other than rubber material such as urethane foam. As described above, according to the present invention, the height of the upper end of the vertical end plate can be accurately and easily positioned by simply pushing down the vertical end plate by inserting the play space insertion material into the play space and compressing the cushion material. , it is possible to significantly reduce the labor and time required for construction without separately providing a weir plate to prevent concrete leakage into the gap.
