歯付きベルトの製造法としては外周面軸方向に複数の歯
形溝を有する円筒 状内金型の外周面に補強布を無端状
に巻付けるか、或は補強布を内金型の歯形溝に沿わせて
無端状に巻付け、その上にロープ抗張体をスパイラルに
巻付け、ついでこの内金型の外側に円筒状外金型を同心
状にセットし、内金型と外金型との空隙部に液状ウレタ
ンエラストマーを注入し、ウレタンエラストマーを抗張
体間を通して内金型の歯形溝に充填せしめてベルトの歯
部を形成せしめると共に抗張体を埋設せしめた状態にて
ベルト引張部を同時に形成せしめ、ウレタンエラストマ
ー硬化後金型よりベルト成形体を取外し、このベルト成
形体を円周方向に所定幅に輪切し、複数本の歯付ベルト
を得る方法が最も一般的な製造法であるが、ロープ抗張
体の捲回時、或は液状ウレタンエラストマーの歯部への
充填時に補強布の位置ずれが発生し、ベルト歯部表面に
気泡が発生したり、歯部表面の補強布にしわ、たるみな
どが発生し、円滑なベルト駆動を望む上で最も重要な個

付きベルトの製造法にある。

入せしめた歯形棒状体8の端面間に空隙部9を派生せし
め(第3図参照)、ついでこの空隙部9にポリウレタン
エラストマーを注入し、下側型付盤2の上に上板10を
載せ、これを外部より加圧加熱して空隙部9に注入した
エラストマーを硬化せしめてのち、上板10、歯形ウレ
タン棒状体8と順次取外して、第5図に示す歯形補強布
の両端溝部分・をウレタン製歯形繋ぎ片5,5にて一体
的に保形固化せしめた繋ぎ片付き歯形補強布4bが下側
型付盤2より取り外される。第3工程として、前記歯形
型付き補強布4bを第6図のように、外周全面軸方向に
多数の歯形溝を設けた円筒状内金型12に、内金型の歯
形溝13部に予めポリウレタンエラストマーを薄くスプ
レーして付着せしめた後、内金型12の歯形溝13に補
強布4bの歯形部を合致せしめて、補強布4bの両端に
補強布4bと一体化せしめた歯形繋ぎ片5,5を補強布
と共に内金型の歯形溝13内に強く押し込みながら内金
型周面に無端状に巻付ける。この発明にあつては補強布
の両端部に一体に付着せしめた歯形繋ぎ片部5,5を内
金型溝部に押し込む方式を採用したのて補強布4bの内
金型12外周面への巻着固定は簡易なものとなり、その
定着は強固確実なものとなる。第4工程として、内金型
12外周面に噛合状態をもつて巻きついた補強布4bの
表面に公知の方法にてスチールワイヤ、テトロン(商標
名)、ナイロン繊維などの低伸度高強力のローブ抗張体
15をスパイラルに巻付ける。

定せしめ、一段の保形強化を図り、この繋ぎ片付き補強
布を内金型の溝付周面に噛合状態をもつて強固に巻着せ
しめる析、この歯形繋ぎ片部分を中心に押圧して内金型
表面に安定着せしめうるので、爾後のローブ抗張体の巻
着け作業、液状ウレタンエラストマーの圧注入作業の折
にも補強布のずれ、しわつき、折れ曲りなどベルト歯部
の成形に致命的欠陥を発生せしめる原因を完全に除去せ
しめることがてき歯形型付き補強布の内金型の嵌合は補
強布の両端部に一体的に固化介在せしめた歯形繋ぎ片の
保形強化部分をもつて実施され、補強布の中央部の内金
型の歯形溝への緊密な嵌合は後続する液状ウレタンエラ
ストマーの注入時の加圧力を効果的に利用して実施せし
めることにより補強布の手数のかかる内金型への押圧巻
装作業を簡略化することができ、補強布はベルトの歯部
全面に亘つて正確かつ強固に定着されるので、完全ベル
トにあつて歯元クラックの発生もなく、かつ噛合状態良
好なベルトを長期に亘つて維持せしめることができる。
