本発明はことに糊付糸の製造に用いる繊維用サイズ剤組

績糸のような繊維糸条に糊付して優れた製織性を発揮す
ることのできる経糸用糊剤として好適なサイズ剤組成物

従来、経糸用糊剤としては多くの水溶性重合体たとえば
ポリビニルアルコール、澱粉、セルロースエーテル、ア
クリル酸系ポリマー、スチレン、マイレン酸系ポリマー
等が主として使用されている。これらの水溶性重合体は
綿、レーヨンのような天然繊維に対する低速製織におい
ては一応満足されているが、ポリエステル、ポリアミド
、ポリプロピレン、ポリアクリルのような合成繊維や該
合成繊維と天然繊維との混合品に対することに高速製織
においては夫々いくつかの欠改を有している。すなわち
、ポリビニルアルコールは糸の粗硬化による製織性の低
下、糊付糸からの除去性が悪い等の欠改を有し、澱粉は
糊付効力が低く、糊抜廃水からの回収が困難であり、し
かも高い生物化学的酸素要求量を有する等の欠点を有し
ている。またセルロースエーテルは糊付効力が低く回収
が困難なことは澱粉同様である。アクリル酸系ポリマー
は良好な接着性を有しているが強度に欠けしかも糊付効
果が低く、スチレン・マレイン酸系ポリマーは接着力に
欠ける等の欠点を有している。したがつて、疎水性合成
繊維用としては澱粉、ポリビニルアルコールを主体に水
溶性アクリル酸系ポリマー等を併用して用いられている
が、なお糊剤の付着分布状態が充分満足できる状態にな
く、いたずらに多量の糊剤を付着させる結果となり、糊
付糸の乾燥後における糸のさばき不良、糊付糸の粗硬化
などによる耐摩擦性の減少、製織工程中における糊剤の
脱落、ガムアップ等による製織能率の低下をきたす欠点
を有している。本発明者等は上記欠点を解消し抱合力が
大きくかつ製織性の優れた糊付糸を与えるサイズ剤を開
発すべく鋭意研究の結果、本発明のサイズ剤組成物に到

Moreover, it has disadvantages such as high biochemical oxygen demand. Similarly to starch, cellulose ether has a low sizing effect and is difficult to recover. Acrylic acid polymers have good adhesive properties, but lack strength and have a low gluing effect, while styrene-maleic acid polymers have drawbacks such as a lack of adhesive strength. Therefore, for hydrophobic synthetic fibers, starch and polyvinyl alcohol are used in combination with water-soluble acrylic acid polymers, etc., but the adhesive distribution of the sizing agent is still not in a sufficiently satisfactory state. This results in the adhesion of an unnecessarily large amount of sizing agent, resulting in poor handling of the sized yarn after it dries, a decrease in abrasion resistance due to rough hardening of the sized yarn, falling off of the sizing agent during the weaving process, gum up, etc. This has the disadvantage of reducing weaving efficiency. The inventors of the present invention have conducted intensive research to develop a sizing agent that solves the above-mentioned drawbacks and provides a sized yarn with a large binding force and excellent weavability, and as a result, they have arrived at the sizing agent composition of the present invention.

50〜99.踵量%を共重合した水分散性架橋型共重合
体のアルカリ塩を0.05〜l鍾量部の割合で含有して
なるサイズ剤組成物である。本発明のサイズ剤組成物は
ことに経糸サイズ剤として優れた効果を発揮することが

ると共に良好な地合いの織布を得ることができる。更に
製織後の精練糊抜工程において脱糊性が改良され、均一
染色性が容易に得られることも大きな特徴である。また
サイズ剤使用量が減少できることから糊抜廃水のBOD
,.COD等もそれだけ減少することができる。本発明
でいう水溶性線状高分子サイズ剤としてはポリビニルア
ルコール、部分けん化ポリ酢酸ビニル、部分けん化ポリ
プロピオン酸ビニルのようなビニルアルコール系高分子
、澱粉、酢化澱粉、カルボキシルメチルイレ殿粉のよう
な澱粉類、セル−ロースエーテル類等のヒドロキシル基
含有高分子の他、アクリル系高分子、水溶性ポリウレタ

A sizing agent composition containing 0.05 parts by weight of an alkali salt of a water-dispersible crosslinked copolymer copolymerized with 9% by weight. 2. The sizing composition according to claim 1, which contains at least 50% by weight of at least one viscosity stabilizer based on the alkali salt of the water-dispersible crosslinked copolymer. 3. The sizing composition according to claim 1, wherein the water-soluble linear polymer sizing agent is mainly composed of polyvinyl alcohol and/or starch. 4 The alkali salt of the water-dispersible crosslinked copolymer contains 50 to 99.9% by weight of ethylenically unsaturated monomers containing carboxyl groups.

The sizing composition according to claim 1, which is an alkali salt of a copolymer consisting of ~49.9% by weight and 0.1-5% by weight of a polyfunctional ethylenically unsaturated monomer. 5. The sizing composition according to claim 2, wherein the viscosity stabilizer is at least one selected from Rodan salts.
