ンツピレンは発癌作用が大きく、たばこ1本から発生す

生体高分子物質を充填したたばこフィルターが提案され
ている。このような生体高分子物質を充填したフィルタ
ーは3|4−ベンツピレンの吸着能を有するものの、そ
の効力はかならずしも十分高いものではなかつた。これ
に対し、本発明者は上記問題点を克服すべく鋭意研究を
重ねた結果、生体高分子物質による発癌性物質の除去能
はその発癌性物質が発癌作用を現わす初期の段階て該生
体高分子物質内の蛋白質や核酸などの標的物質と結合す
ることによることに着目し、生体高分子物質の一つであ
るスピルリナをフィルターに層状に含有せしめることに
よつて、血清アルブミン、乳清蛋白質等を充填した従来
のたばこフィルターに較べて3、4−ベンツピレンの選
択吸着能が格段に優れたたばこフィルターを見い出した

Focusing on the ability to bind to target substances such as proteins and nucleic acids within polymeric substances, we have incorporated spirulina, a biological polymeric substance, into the filter in a layered manner to improve serum albumin and whey protein. のたばこフイルタ一に較べて発癌性の強い3,4−ベン
ツピレンの除去能が格段に優れていることがわかる。
