るものである。

運転した場合の省エネルギー性が現実されなかつた。
本発明は上記の欠点を解消するものであり、空調能力を
多少犠牲にしても、使用者の意志によつて多少とも省エ
ネルギー運転時間を長くすることを目的とするものであ
る。 以下、本発明の一実施例を添付図面と共に説明す
る。

。なお、凝縮器2、蒸発器4の送風機回路は省略した。
以上の構成て次に本発明の作用を説明する。先ず、タ
イマ装置10は常に通電されているために、いわゆる電
気時の働らきをしており、この評伝を空気調和機の本体
で行なえば時計としても利用できるものでる。従つて、
冷房負荷の比較的小さいと思われる時間帯(例えば、午
後6時から午前7時の間)をタイマ装置10で設定して
おけば、この時間帯は毎日自動的にリレーコイル11と
タイマ装置10の電源側とが連結される。上記の時間帯
に運転スイッチ6を投入し、室温調節器7が閉成されて
いると、スイッチ15も閉成されるため、リレーコイル
11が励磁され、スイッチ13が閉成され、スイッチ1
4が開放される。従つて、極数切換スイッチ8の極数に
かわらず、常にモータ9は4極で低回転し、極数可変圧
縮機1は、低容量で運転される。その結果蒸発器の容量
に対して、吐出冷媒が少ないために冷凍効果を大きくと
れ、高効率で冷房ができ、省エネルギー運転が可能とな
る。又、上記時間帯以外で運転される場合は、極数切換
スイッチ8によつて自動的に極数は切換えられる。以上
のように本実施例では、使用者の意志によつて、冷房負
荷の比較的小さい時間帯は常に4極運転を行なために、
夜間の騒音防止、運転費の節一約が達成される。
