。The reason why the corotron wire gets dirty is that the atmosphere inside the copying machine contains toner and paper dust, the corotron faces a photosensitive surface close to where toner particles remain, and the wire itself has the same function as an electric collector. This includes having the following:

All of these have advantages and disadvantages. That is, although the former method is simple, it is time-consuming in a copying machine having a large number of corotrons. In the latter case, the link mechanism becomes complicated. The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and its purpose is to be able to automatically clean the corotron wire reliably, efficiently, and easily and inexpensively. It is an object of the present invention to provide a charger cleaning device which enables cleaning of all corotrons at regular intervals, eliminates mutual variation in discharge on a drum, and keeps process parameters constant.
以下、本発明を図面を参照して説明する。Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained with reference to the drawings.

An engaging portion 7 is formed in the shield 1, and the engaging portion 7 slidably passes through the guide hole 5, and a hook portion 7a of the engaging portion 7 is in sliding contact with the outer surface of the shield 1. A in the drawing is a cleaner pad reciprocating means, and this reciprocating means A is equipped with pulleys 10 and 11 that are pivotally supported on the shield 1 via brackets 8 and 9, and a cleaner drive wire 12 is connected between the pulleys 10 and 11. The cleaner drive wire 12 is attached to the engaging portion 7 of the cleaner pad 6.

装置てある。In addition, a circuit (not shown) allows a certain period of time (the time required for the cleaner to make one round trip) when the main switch of the machine is turned on in the morning.
It is convenient to automatically move and drive the corotron cleaning motor, and if cleaning is required at other times, a switch is provided on the machine control panel and the switch can be pressed to perform the cleaning as appropriate. The present invention has been described in detail above, and includes a cleaner pad 6 that is reciprocatably provided on the shield 1 and that comes into sliding contact with the corotron wire 3 stretched within the shield 1 to clean the corotron wire 3; A cleaner pad reciprocating means A is provided on the drum shaft 22 to convert the rotation of the friction roller 13 into movement of the cleaner pad 6; An annular friction surface 26 is provided on the drive plate 23 in contact with the friction roller 25 at the end of the shaft of the cleaner pad 24, and a driving force transmission mechanism B in contact with the friction roller 13 of the cleaner pad reciprocating means A (7) is provided on this friction surface 26. There is a cleaning device for a charger which is characterized by:

Furthermore, the corotron wire can be automatically cleaned reliably and efficiently, and the apparatus can be made simple and inexpensive.
