本発明は硬質カプセル、殊にその外側面に所定の印刷表

カプセルの外側表面に施されているので、末端需要者に
渡るまてに種々の摩擦を受け易く (特にカプセル同士
の衝突、カプセル充顛機および選別コンベヤーなどの摺
擦)、このため印刷インクがカプセル外側面から剥離し

部とキャップ部の不意の分離を阻止する鎖錠効果を持た
すためのものであつて、印刷剥離の防止を意図したもの
ではなく、同公報にもこの凹部に印刷を施すことによつ
て種々の摩擦から該印刷部を保護しようとすることにつ

本発明硬質カプセルは第1図に例示するとおりカプセル
外側面の一部に凹部3を形成し、この凹部3の外面に印

硬質カプセルとしてはゼラチンカプセルのような胃溶性

造られる腸溶性カプセルを挙げることができ、また薬用
カプセルにも限定されない。前記凹部3は第1図に示す
ようにボディ部1のみに限定されるものではなく、第2
図および第3図に例示するように所望によりキャップ部
2に、クまたはボディ部1とキャップ部2の両方に形成
してもよい。また、この凹部3は図例のようにボディー
部1またはキャップ部2の円周上全周に設けなくてもそ
の一部に形成していてもよい。従つて、特に図示しない
が場合によつてはこの凹部をカプセルの軸線に沿つて縦
長に設計することもできる。この凹部3の好ましい深さ
は約0.001〜0.5T!r!nであり、またそのカ
プセル軸線方向の巾は0.5〜10順位が適当である。
凹部3の深さが0.001mより浅い場合には印刷イン
クの塗膜面がカプセル外側面より突出することになるの
で(乾燥時における印刷インクの塗膜厚味は約0.00
1朗といわれている)、印刷剥離の防止効果が充分では
なく、また逆に0.57mを越える深い凹部はカプセル
成形時における成形ピンからのカプセルの剥ぎ取りが困
難となり、該カプセルの製造(成形)そのものに支障を
来たすので好ましくない。一方、凹部3の巾が0.5薗
より狭いと実際上その部分に印刷を施すことができず、
,だからといつて10Tr0nを越える程の巾もまた必
要でない。ただ、この凹部3の巾はカプセルそのものの
大きさによつても当然に変り得るので、前記0.5〜1
077!77!の巾は決して絶対的なものではなく、実
際には対象カプセルの大きさ(サイズ)および表示され
る印刷のデザイン等によつ−て適宜設計すればよい。こ
のような凹部3に施される印刷4は従来品と同様に薬剤
名コード、製薬会社名おび/または主薬含量などを表わ
す所定の文字、数字あるいは記号、さらには任意の模様
などから構成され、これらの印刷力幼プセルの円周方向
