DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an improvement of a diaper wetness alarm device, and its purpose is to prevent sick and bedridden elderly people, especially bedridden incontinence patients, from suffering adverse physical and mental effects due to wet diapers. To make it possible for patients to have their diapers changed in a reasonable manner at an appropriate time, and to eliminate the current irrationality in which such patients' diapers are changed periodically regardless of the wetness of the diaper. We aim to provide a diaper wetness alarm device that allows incontinence patients to always receive medical care in a good environment, and that significantly reduces the labor burden of caregivers. be.

Traditionally, the work of assisting bedridden incontinence patients in changing diapers was
It is a heavy labor burden for the caregiver, and the replacement work is done regularly at regular intervals, regardless of whether or not the person is incontinent. Patients with incontinence are left with wet diapers until the scheduled time in the morning, which puts them in an unfavorable state in terms of their health and mental health.

In order to improve this undesirable situation, devices have been proposed that detect diaper wetness by changes in electrical resistance and notify caregivers of incontinence using alarms such as lamps and buzzers. This is described in Publication No. 3119/1983 and Japanese Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 127391/1983.

Under these circumstances, if a wetness alarm like the one described above is used, it will detect wetness and issue an alarm even though the amount of wetness is small and has not reached the permissible water retention capacity of the diaper. People have to change diapers every time they change their diapers, which means they have to work harder than before, and patients with incontinence also become nervous because they have to change their diapers more often than necessary. This is not good for mental health. As mentioned above, in view of the current situation where incontinent patients live in an unfavorable environment, the present invention has been made by intensively investigating the urinary conditions of such patients, and as a result of consideration, it has been found that diapers are appropriate for incontinent patients from the onset of incontinence. They discovered that it takes a long time to reach the water retention capacity and completed the present invention.

That is, according to the present invention, in a diaper wetness alarm device that includes a combination of an antenna, a high frequency amplifier, a frequency converter, a detector, a low frequency amplifier, and an alarm and detects and notifies the wetness of a diaper, the time for issuing an alarm can be adjusted. Therefore, there is provided a diaper wetness alarm device characterized in that a delay circuit is installed between a detector and an alarm so that the delay circuit can be arbitrarily set.

The drawing is a block diagram of an electric circuit of a diaper wetness notification device according to the present invention. When the wetness of the diaper is detected and the signal is transmitted from a transmitter (not shown), the antenna 1 catches the signal radio wave, passes through the high frequency amplifier 2 and the frequency converter 3, and the detector 4 outputs the signal radio wave indicating that the diaper is wet. It is detected that it exists and is extracted. It is preferable that the circuit up to this point uses a superheterodyne system. Next, the detected signal is controlled to a large output in the low frequency amplifier 5, and after further delaying the alarm output time by a desired time in the delay circuit 6, or after the delay circuit 6, the low frequency amplifier 5
After passing through, the alarm 7 notifies the caregiver. Although the delay circuit 6 is of a fixed type or a variable type, it is preferable to use a variable type that can be changed depending on the incontinence condition. Also, it is preferable that the delay time can be set within 2 hours. The alarm may be a lamp, light emitting diode, or buzzer. As described above, the diaper wetness alarm device according to the present invention is improved so that it can issue an alarm when the diaper becomes moderately wet, so it can improve the health management of bedridden incontinence patients. This has its advantages, and it also has the advantage of reducing the workload of caregivers and saving their labor.
