To provide a method for manufacturing a square tile, which makes it possible to easily manufacture a square tile with high product value, which can be glazed over the entire side end face of the square tile, through a simple process that eliminates the need for a pedestal, etc.

する必要がある。Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 1, square tiles are made by extrusion molding a square tile 1 of arbitrary length bent at an arbitrary angle, for example, having an L-shaped cross section, and then formed with a chevron-shaped surface 21 having the same angle as the bending angle. On the chevron-shaped surface 21 of the pedestal 2 having the square tile 1 back surface 1
Place the two sides so that they are in contact with each other and fire. However, when the square tile 1 is placed on the pedestal 2 and fired, the back surface 1 of the square tile 1 is
3 is in contact with the chevron-shaped surface 21, while its surface 11 is in contact with air, so the expansion/contraction rate of the front surface 11 and back surface 13 of the square tile 1 is affected by the difference in heat transfer during firing and during cooling after firing. There are problems such as unevenness of the surface of the adjacent corner tile 1 even during construction, which causes distortions due to the difference in the shape of the corner tile 1, and even when the corner tile 1 has a desired bending angle, and is easily damaged. Moreover, even though square tiles are simply called square tiles, there are various bending angles and lengths, so it is necessary to prepare various types of pedestals with chevron-shaped surfaces that are angled to suit the bending angle.

When the entire side end surface 12 of the square tile 1 is glazed and fired,
Since the glaze flows between the square tile 1 back surface 13 pedestal 2 chevron-shaped surface 21 which are in contact with each other, the two are fused together.

However, this kind of thing not only unnecessarily complicates the work process and reduces efficiency, but also the use of such a mold release agent also makes the square tile 1 side Glazing the entire surface of the end surface 12 cannot completely prevent fusion, but it is impossible to glaze the entire surface of the side end surface 12, so depending on the location, the unglazed side surface may be This causes various inconveniences, such as being exposed and conspicuous and significantly reducing the decorative value. In addition, the above method can produce square tiles with an L-shaped cross section, but in the case of square tiles, etc., cracks inevitably occur due to shrinkage during firing, making integral molding impossible and requiring separate firing. The shape of the rectangular tiles that can be manufactured is limited to an L-shaped cross section, resulting in a lack of versatility.

It is possible to manufacture high-precision square tiles with bending angles and is easy to install.Furthermore, the entire side edge of the square tiles can be glazed, making them extremely valuable as a product, and can be applied to various cross-sectional shapes. This method was developed for the purpose of providing a method for manufacturing square tiles, and its gist is that when manufacturing a square tile of an arbitrary length with an arbitrarily bent cross-sectional shape, the back surface of the square tile is bridged between the vicinity of both tips. A step of forming the tile main body by integrally bonding it to the flat plate-shaped substrate part formed as shown in FIG. and a step of dividing the square tile by shearing and removing the substrate portion from the driving portion by hitting the tile main body after the firing step.

The square tile 3 is bent at an arbitrary angle and has an L-shaped cross section. A dovetail groove 331 is formed in the back surface 33 of the square tights 3, and the corner tights 3 are connected to both upper edges 4a of the base plate 4 near both tips 33a of the back surface 33. In addition, the seat surface 4b of the base plate portion 4 is provided to protrude from both the tip portions 33a. Therefore, since both tips 33a of the back surface 33 of the square tile 3 protrude from the substrate section 4 as described above, the glaze can be applied to the entire surface 31 and side end surfaces 32 of the square tile 3. Further, the substrate portion 4 which is extruded integrally with the square tile 3 has a substantially flat plate shape, and a dovetail groove 41 is appropriately formed on the back surface 4b side, and the square tile 3 of the substrate portion 4 A notch 5a to enable shear removal near the joint with the base plate 4, and a notch 5a to shear and divide the base plate 4 itself in order to facilitate shear removal of the base plate 4.

During this firing process, the square tile 3 is integrally connected to the substrate portion 4 near the upper edges 4a on both sides thereof, and both the front surface 31 and the back surface 33 of the square tile 3 are structured to be in contact with air. Therefore, it is difficult to deform or warp due to heat or external force, making it extremely easy to handle.

At the same time as being divided, the corner tile 3 and the substrate part 4 are also cut into the notch 5a.
The square tiles 3 are then sheared and removed to form divided square tiles 3.

In addition, both the front surface 31 and back surface 33 of the square tile 3 come into contact with the same air, so that they all receive a uniform thermal effect. Since the substrate part 4 is integrally connected near both ends of the back surface 33 of the square tile 3, mechanical It has sufficient strength against severe deformation, and can provide corner tiles with extremely accurate bending angles and flatness. It is also extremely easy to install, and can be used in various cross-sectional shapes. It becomes highly effective without cracking. (2) In addition, when taking the tile into and out of the firing chamber, there is no need to handle the tile main body and the pedestal as two pieces as in the past, and the tile main body P can be taken in and out as a single unit, and the alumina coating work can be done easily. It is extremely effective in improving workability, as it is completely unnecessary, and there is no need to prepare various pedestals to match the shape of the square tile, and it is only necessary to match the width of the substrate to the square tile during extrusion molding. This is an efficient manufacturing method with no waste.

Since the glaze is formed from the surface 31 of the corner tile 3,
Since it is possible to glaze not only the entire side end surface 32 but also the lower end back surface 34 (indicated by the two-dot chain line in Fig. 2), the unglazed surface will not be exposed when this is done. Therefore, the decorative value is extremely high, and as mentioned above, the forming precision is also high, so it is possible to manufacture square tiles with high commercial value, such as a good appearance in terms of design.

At this time, the impact on the square tile 3 can be buffered by dividing the substrate portion 4 itself, and the square tile can be easily divided and molded without damaging it.

ない。In the above embodiment, only the case where the board part is divided into three parts has been explained, but it goes without saying that the number of parts of the board part is not limited to this. The cut portion for this purpose may not be provided on the substrate side as shown in the figure, but may be cut almost flush with the back surface of the corner tile or into the corner tile. It is not limited to an L-shaped cross section, but may also have a so-called 1-curve shape or a 0-biyofu shape, or a cross-sectional shape of a ■ shape, an inverted U shape, an M shape, or a ○ shape. The specific tile-based structure of the present invention, the firing chamber used in the manufacturing method, the firing conditions thereof, etc. are based on the above-mentioned purpose, function, and so on. It goes without saying that these changes may be arbitrarily determined within the range in which the desired effect is achieved, and none of these changes alters the gist of the present invention.
