うように用い、主として、工場において油汚れした手を
洗う場合などに、汚れをこすり取るピーリング式の浄化
材として使用されていた。しかしながら、上記従来の浄
化材は、主材がポリビニールアルコールの水溶液そのも
のであるために肌荒れを生じさせるという欠点があり、
手足などのように丈夫な皮膚面の浄化には適しても、皮
膚の弱い部分等に美容を第一義とす顔面の浄化材として
は、不適当であるという欠点があつた。そこで本発明は
、ポリビニールアルコールの水溶液に、可塑剤を添加し
たものを主剤とすることによつて、前記従来の欠点を除
去し、皮膚の弱い部分にも好適し得るようにした顔面の
