Since this cask comes into contact with radioactive contaminants, it is necessary to decontaminate it by washing it with water from time to time. For this purpose, the cask is placed vertically on a transport device and transported to the lower part of the decontamination room, and then pushed up using a lifting device such as a hydraulic jack to connect the upper part of the cask to the decontamination room and perform decontamination work. It is required that the equipment is sufficiently safe and will not fall over. In particular, the cask 1 has cooling fins attached to its outer surface in consideration of the heat generated by the stored items, and if the cask falls over, there is a risk of hindering the lifting operation. On the other hand, it is required to have sufficiently high precision support to ensure that it is connected to the lower part of the decontamination chamber after being pushed up. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems and provide a cask transporting device that has sufficient strength against vibrations, can support with high precision, and can easily perform cask decontamination work.

The trolley 8 has wheels 9 and a rail truck 11 laid on the floor 10.
It is now possible to drive on it. Although not shown, the carriage 8 is generally moved by an electric motor and a suitable drive device. The truck 8 also has a rail clamp 12, which has a structure such that its claw 12a catches the head of the rail 11, as shown in FIG. 2, to prevent the truck 8 from falling. However, in the figure, only the left rail clamp is shown, and the right side is omitted for the sake of explanation. 13 is a cleaning chamber provided above the rail 11, and the cask 1 can be connected to a lower hole 14 of this cleaning chamber.

A hydraulic jack chamber 15 is provided in the floor 10 opposite to the lower hole 14, and a lifting device such as a hydraulic jack 16 having a capacity sufficient to lift the cask 1 is disposed. A hole 8a is formed in the center of the truck 8 so that the ram 16a of the hydraulic jack 16 passes through and reaches the lower surface of the saucer 4. 17
is a locator pin device, which positions the trolley 8 by inserting a pin 18 into a receiver 19 arranged on the floor 11, and also has a locator pin device with a pin 18 that is sufficient to stop movement of the trolley 8 in the running direction even against vibrations such as earthquakes. It has strength. Next, the operation of the present invention will be explained.

At another location, the cask 1 is placed in a position suitable for cleaning by removing the upper lid, etc., and is placed on a cart 8 in an upright position with the mouth of the container facing upward, as shown in FIG. 1, and is transported to the lower part of the cleaning chamber 13. . After positioning and stopping at the lower part of the cleaning chamber 13, the locator pin device 17 is activated, the pin 18 is inserted into the holder 19 on the floor, and the trolley 8 is fixed. Next, operate the hydraulic jack 16 and ram 16
a through the hole 8a and lift the cask 1 upward via the saucer 4. Finally, the cask 1 is operated until the upper part of the cask 1 is connected to the lower hole 14 of the cleaning chamber 13 as shown by the dashed line in FIG. During this time, the cask 1 is lifted into the groove of the guide 6 by the trunnion pin 2 on the top of the cask and the pin 5 of the saucer 4, so even if strong vibrations such as an earthquake act on the way, the force will be transferred from the guide 6 to the frame 7. Furthermore, this is transmitted to the truck 8, and the cask 1 is prevented from falling over by the hydraulic jack 16. Generally, when the cask 1 is transported vertically, the position of the entire center of gravity becomes high and it is conceivable that the cart 8 will topple over. However, in the configuration of the present invention, if one side of the cask 1 is lifted, the rail clamp 12 is attached to the rail 11. Since it will get caught on the head, there will be no problem if the rail is installed with sufficient strength. After cleaning, the hydraulic jack 16 is lowered and the cask 1 is mounted on the trolley 8, and the hydraulic jack 16 is lowered to a position where it does not interfere with the running of the trolley 8. After pulling out the pin 18 of the locator pin device 17, the cask 1 is mounted on the trolley 8.

The cask 1 is lifted up by a crane or the like and removed from the cart 8. At this time, the saucer 4 is separated from the lower part of the cask 1 and remains on the carriage 8. FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which a mounting seat 8b of the truck 8 is formed as shown in FIG. 3, and O-rings 30, 31 are attached on the mounting seat 8b.

Further, a space 32 is provided between the O-rings 30 and 31, the mounting seat surface 8b of the truck, and the saucer 4. A pipe 33 is provided in the space 32 to which fluid can be injected from the outside. Also saucer 4
A groove 4a is formed in the saucer 4 so that the connecting portion of the ram 16a of the hydraulic jack 16 and the ram 16a of the hydraulic jack 16 fit into each other with a taper. Other than the above, this embodiment is the same as the first embodiment described in FIGS. 1 and 2. In this embodiment, a fluid of Pkg/CFlf is injected from a fluid pressure generation source (not shown) through the pipe 33. If the diameter of the inner O-ring is Dlcwt, the diameter of the outer O-ring is D2cm, and the total weight of the cask 1 and the saucer 4 is Wkg, then when I(D-D¥)P>w, the mounting seat surface 8b float more. In this state, if the ram 16a of the hydraulic jack is pushed up, the tapered groove 4a will fit, and the saucer 4 will be aligned with the center of the ram 16a. i.e. ram 16
If the small diameter of the taper of a is d1 and the large taper diameter of the groove 4a of the saucer 4 is y, then even if the center of the ram 16a and the center of the saucer 4 are eccentric by δ, if δ is aligned with the center of the ram 16a. In this case, the weight part is floating and there is almost no frictional force between the receiving tray 4 and the mounting seat surface 8b, so that no excessive radial load is applied to the ram 16a. What? For example, if the weight of the cask is 120t0n1, the diameter of the outer O-ring is 2(1)mm, and the diameter of the inner O-ring is 1(1)o, then the hydraulic pressure is 5.
It will levitate at 1kg/CTi or more, so it can be used with air pressure.

According to the configuration of this embodiment, even if there is a certain degree of positioning error of the trolley, the final positioning can be determined by a fixed hydraulic jack, so the positioning accuracy for the cleaning room joint is very accurate. . As explained above, according to the cask transport device of the present invention, the trunnion pin on the top of the cask and the pin provided on the saucer that fits with the cask below the cask are supported by the groove of the guide so that they can only move up and down, so they can be pushed up by the pusher. The inside of the cask can be supported with high precision to prevent it from falling over due to vibrations such as earthquakes, and to ensure the connection between the cask and the cleaning chamber.

Furthermore, since the saucer is provided, cooling fins can be freely provided below the cask without requiring something like an upper trunnion pin.
