し脱水して排出するようにした厨芥処理機における自浄

を微粉砕して排水とともに下水に放流する方式の厨芥処
理機(デイスポーザ)が使用され出した。しかし、この
場合、放流水が極めて汚濁され放流水BOD規制等に抵
触するおそれがあり、しかも放流された厨芥によつて下
水から腐敗臭その他の悪臭が発生することになり、下水
処理の必要が生じる等行政上種々の問題があつた。 そ
こで、最近では、流しのごみ投棄口から投棄される厨芥
を破砕室内において破砕し、破砕したものを破砕室の下
部外方へ送出して脱水し、脱水したものをケーシング−
部の排出口から排出して厨芥収納容器等に収容すること
により、厨芥を下゜水に放流することなく処理すること
が検討されており、本発明者においても、上記のような
方式の厨芥処理機として、ケーシング内における破砕室
の室壁の外方に逆截頭円錐形の脱水かごを装備するとと
もに、脱水かごの内周に沿つて回動し得る羽根を備え、
破砕室から送出される破砕厨芥を、羽根の回動により脱
水かご内を周回動させてその遠心力により脱水かご上方
の排出口から排出するようにしたものを提供せんとした
ものである。上記のような厨芥処理機においては、排出
口から排出され厨芥収納容器または袋体等に収容される
厨芥は悪臭が発生するまでに廃棄すればよいが、処理機
のケーシング内に厨芥やその滓が残ると、それから腐敗
臭その他の悪臭が発生し台所に放散される等の問題が生
じ、その影響は多大なものである。従つてケーシング内
にはなるべく厨芥等を残さないようにする必要がある。
通常、厨芥処理時に流す水量を多くすることによつて破
砕厨芥を殆んど全て排出することができるが、節水とい
うことから水量をあまり多くすることはできない。その
ためケーシング内の稼動しない部分例えは排水孔が形成
されている脱水かこの外周面やケーシング内周面等の排
水の当りが柔らかい個所には排水に混入せる微細な厨芥
や滓が付着し易くかつ付着すると取れ難いもので、これ
がケーシング内からの腐敗臭発生の一因となつている。
特に脱水かごの外周面では排水孔の周囲に微細な厨芥等
が付着し易く、これを放置しておくと付着物が固化して
徐々に増加して遂には目詰まりを来たす虞れがある。本
発明は上記に鑑みて特に脱水かごの外周面とその外方の
ケーシング内周面との間に前記両面もしくは片面に当接
し得る掻き取り部材を設け、該掻き取り部材を回転盤に
同期して回動させること−により、脱水かごの外周面や
ケーシング内周面に付着する厨芥等を厨芥処理時に同時

方へ送出できるようなした破砕室をケーシング内に設け
、ケーシング内における破砕室の室壁の周囲外方に、逆
截頭円錐形の脱水かごを装備するとともに脱水かごの内
周に沿つて回動し得る羽根を備え、破砕室から送出され
る破砕厨芥を、羽根の回動により脱水かこ内を周回動さ
せてその遠心力により脱水かご上方の排出口から排出さ
せるようにした厨芥処理機において、脱水かごの外周面
とその外方のケーシング内周面との間には前記両面もし
くは片面に当接し得る掻き取り部材を設け、該掻き取り
部材を回転盤の駆動軸に連結して支持したことを特徴と
する厨芥処理機における自浄装置。 2 掻き取り部材が弾性を有するU字形の支持部材によ
り駆動軸に連結されてなる特許請求の範囲第1項記載の
