木突板を接着する際に、あらかじめウレタン、アクリル
等の耐アルカリ性シーラをスレート基材に塗布コートし
、さらに酢酸ビニルアクリル系またはゴム系接着剤を塗
布して、熱圧着したものである。 しかしながら、この
不燃化粧板は、接着剤が溶液タイプであるため、塗布方
法、ピンホール(異物混入)や塗布むらによりまた熱圧
による流動により、接着層が均一にならず、アルカリ性
を有するスレート基板のアルカリにより天然突板が変色

タン樹脂、アクリル樹脂等の耐アルカリシーラ2をコー
トし(工程A)、所定温度(80℃〜200℃)まで加
熱(工程B)してシーラ2上に、30μ以上の層厚(最
適は50μ)をもつたビニル樹脂系、ポリオレフィン樹
脂系、その他シーラ2と同種同成分を含む材料を用いた
耐アルカリ性のホットメルト接着シート3および天然銘
木突板4を重ねて熱圧プレス成形(工程C)する。さら
に突板4の表面に下地塗料を塗(工程D)り、これをサ
ンデイング(工程E)し、上塗塗料を塗り(工程F)、
乾燥(工程G)して、表面樹脂層5を形成する。この層
5はアミノアルキッド樹脂、ウレタン樹脂、アクリル樹
脂、ポリエステル樹脂等を用いている。 この不燃化粧
板は、ホットメルト接着シート3の上下面が加熱温度(
80℃〜2000C)て溶融流動し、中間部は溶融しな
いので、中間部により一定の層厚が得られ、この接着層
