Automotive radiators circulate heat between the engine and the radiator using liquid as a cooling medium to adjust the temperature of the engine, and radiator fins work to dissipate heat through tubes.

Therefore, a copper alloy with high thermal conductivity has been conventionally used as a radiator fin material. However, since radiator fins are subjected to various heat treatments when assembling the radiator, poor heat resistance will reduce the mechanical strength of the fins.

The purpose of adding Pb is to improve strength and corrosion resistance, and the reason why the range is limited to 0.001 to 0.05% by weight is because if it is less than 0.001% by weight, the above effects can hardly be expected. This is because if it exceeds .05% by weight, thermal conductivity and processability will decrease. The purpose of adding Ag and Sn is mainly to improve heat resistance.
The range was limited to more than 0.05 to 0.15% by weight.
.. This is because if the amount is less than 0.05% by weight, little effect can be expected, and if it exceeds 0.15% by weight, the thermal conductivity will decrease.

次に本発明合金の実施例を説明する。Next, examples of the alloy of the present invention will be described.

Heat resistance was evaluated by heating three pieces of sample material at a predetermined temperature, and evaluating the softening temperature at the point where the strength was 80% of that before heating. In addition, thermal conductivity was evaluated by measuring electrical conductivity, which has a positive correlation with thermal conductivity. Note that the conductivity measurement was performed in accordance with JISH0505. The results are shown in Table 2. As can be seen from Table 2, the alloy of the present invention is an alloy with excellent heat resistance and thermal conductivity.
