の際、ロール対のカリバーフランジ相互間および
ガイドとの間のセンタリング調整などがダウンタ
イムの不利を伴い、これにはさらにカリバーへの
へげ焼付きによるグラインダ手入れにも時間がか
かり、その他カリバーのコーナ部における圧下量
がとくに大きくなることによるフイツシユテール
の切捨量も多いなどの欠点がある上、カリバ内の
変形抵抗が高いので動力費が嵩むというような問
題をはらんでいる。

配列において試みられ、実験も進められつつある
が、実際の工程化には、未だ到つてはいないのが
現状である。

る圧延実験によつて明らかにし、その結果に従つ
つて、フラツトロールのロール間隙を通して被圧
延材の有効な保持を与えることができる条鋼圧延
用サイドガイドにつき、以下の構成を開発したも
のである。

おいてレストバーに固定し、かつ他方のガイドプ
レートを、圧延機ハウジングに固定取付けした推
力装置と連結し、これによつて両ガイドプレート
の内のり間隙を、圧延用ロールの軸心と平行な任
意位置で可変に設定することを特徴とする条材圧
延用貫通型サイドガイドである。
