半円状の外鍔を螺旋状に突設することにより、成
形材料の混合を促進する効果と成形材料の流れを
複雑化する効果を増長し、シリンダ内周面ならび
にスクリユー間での剪断力を更に増大せしめ得る
こと更には成形材料塊の位置交換を効率よく行な
うことを可能とし、混練効果を極めて増大せしめ
ることができる押出成形機のスクリユー構造を提
供するにある。

て成形材料の流れは分割され、流れ状態が複雑化
される。その為に乱流混合が付加されると共に材
料の混練も更に助長されるのである。更に特筆す
べき効果として外鍔3,4,5,6の切れ目にお
いて分割された成形材料塊は次の外鍔3,4,
5,6を通過したのちに再び併合され、次の外鍔
3,4,5,6の切れ目に至つた際には、前回分
割、併合が行なわれた位置と異なつた位置から再
分割される。
