(Prior Art) Conventionally, a circular needle in which the rear ends of a pair of knitting needles are connected by a flexible wire or string material is known, but when using this type of circular needle, the most problem is This is the connecting part between the knitting needle and the flexible wire.

For this reason, various improvements have been made to the connecting part, such as in Publication of Utility Model Publication No. 50-9410, Publication of Utility Model Publication No. 49-26516, Publication of Publication of Utility Model Publication No. 32924 of 1977, etc.; Among these, those in which the connecting parts are fixed with glue or the like have the disadvantage that the connecting parts easily peel off due to the bending load applied during use, making them unsuitable for repeated use. When reinforcing the periphery of the connecting part in order to ensure a strong connecting part that can withstand loads, there is a problem in that a step is created in the reinforced part and the knitted fabric gets caught, impairing the smoothness of the knitting work.

Therefore, in order to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, promote smooth knitting operations, and prevent the connected parts from peeling off, the pair of knitting needle bodies 1, 1 as shown in FIG. Synthetic resin molded connecting portion 2 in a dogleg shape or inverted dogleg shape is formed by molding synthetic resin to connect with the wire rod 3.
Attempts have been made to create a smooth outer periphery.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, in such an attempt, although the knitting operation becomes smooth and separation of the connected portions is prevented, the following problems arise.

That is, in order to manufacture the above-mentioned knitting needles, the rear end of the needle body and the connecting end of the flexible wire are usually housed in a mold for molding, and resin is injected and solidified. At this time, since the rear end of the needle body is square and the flexible wire material is flexible, the position is not stable and the position shifts in the mold, resulting in the ring needle after molding. Flexible wires may be exposed on the outer periphery of the resin part of the connecting part of the product, or even if they are not exposed, they may be knitted together, impairing the appearance or causing problems during use.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention that solves the above problems is characterized by a joint that connects the rear end of the needle body and the connecting end of the flexible wire. The knitting needles are made by using a member to secure the shape in a stable position during molding, and have a pair of knitting needles in which a dogleg-shaped or inverted dogleg-shaped synthetic resin molded part is connected and molded at the rear end of the needle body. In the manufacture of circular needles which are arranged symmetrically with each other and whose ends are connected by a flexible wire, using a joint member in which a large-diameter cylindrical part and a small-diameter cylindrical part are integrally connected, The small diameter part of the rear end of the needle body is fitted into the large diameter cylindrical part of the joint member, and the knitting needle connecting end of the flexible wire is fitted into the small diameter cylindrical part, and then the above joint is fitted. The connecting part including the hand member is placed in a mold, and resin is injected by known means to solidify and mold the doglegged or inverted doglegged synthetic resin molded part.

Therefore, the joint member having the large-diameter cylindrical part and the small-diameter cylindrical part used in the above manufacturing is usually made of metal,
For example, it is made using a steel plate, an aluminum plate, etc., and each cylindrical part can be easily formed by rolling each required rectangular metal plate into a cylindrical shape.

The diameters and lengths of the large-diameter cylindrical part and the small-diameter cylindrical part are such that the large-diameter cylindrical part fits the rear end of the needle body, and the small-diameter cylindrical part fits the flexible wire connecting end. For this reason, a slight amount of sliding is allowed as long as the rear end and connecting end can be held securely.

Also, the large diameter cylindrical part and the small diameter cylindrical part may be directly connected, but it is preferable to interpose a connecting part of the required length and width between them, and this part allows both the cylindrical parts to form a mold. Flexibility is provided to hold the device in place within the device.

In addition, the above-mentioned joint member has a dogleg-shaped or inverted dogleg-shaped joint part formed by synthetic resin molding, so that the outer periphery thereof is smoothly flush with each other, and there is a step at the transition part to the flexible wire material. Therefore, it is important to make sure that even the large-diameter cylindrical part is smaller than the thickness of the resin-molded connection part in the final product, and that the rear end of the needle body is inserted inside it. For this reason, it is formed as a narrower diameter portion.

Next, to explain the process of manufacturing circular needles using the above-mentioned joint member, first, the above-mentioned joint member is made, and the large-diameter cylindrical part of the knitting needle body, preferably a bamboo needle body, is attached to the rear end of the needle body. On the other hand, insert the connecting end of a flexible wire material, for example, a synthetic resin linear body such as nylon gutt, which connects the pair of left and right knitting needles into the small diameter cylindrical part, and perform this on the left and right knitting needles. ,
After that, the connecting parts including the respective joint members are positioned at the required positions in the molding die, stabilized, and resin is injected into the parts, and the joint members are coated with the resin to form the joint parts. The synthetic resin molded part is solidified and formed.

In this way, it is possible to efficiently manufacture circular needles with doglegged or inverted doglegged connecting parts with good appearance, and this is a significant improvement over the conventional production of many defective or problem products. However, it is possible to greatly improve the yield. In addition, the joint member is directly embedded in the connecting portion molded from synthetic resin, thereby reinforcing the same portion.

Therefore, when manufacturing such a circular needle, as shown in FIG. The connecting end portion 3a of the flexible wire 3 is inserted into the small diameter cylindrical portion 6 of the joint member 4 for a required length, and the connecting portion including the joint member 4 is accommodated and arranged in a required mold within the mold. Then, it is made by injecting synthetic resin and molding it.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, the present invention secures the connection between the knitting needle main body and the flexible wire in advance using a joint member having a specific shape, and then molds the knitting needle main body and the flexible wire. When molding, the position of the connecting part is ensured stably, and therefore, the exposure to the outside due to uneven distribution of flexible wire, which has often been seen in the past and caused defective products, can be completely eliminated. This not only makes it easier to form the connecting part between the knitting needle and the flexible wire during circular needle production, but also greatly improves the yield, increases manufacturing efficiency, and improves the appearance of the circular needle. It has the remarkable effect of significantly improving the conventional problems in circular needle manufacturing, such as increasing the commercial value.

Moreover, by using the above-mentioned joint member, it is possible to adjust the length of the flexible wire by adjusting the degree of insertion, and there is no need to create various lengths for the flexible wire, making it highly versatile and connecting. It also has the effect of increasing bending strength by reinforcing the parts.
