DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention uses ordinary transfer paper printed with an ink containing a mixture of a synthetic resin vehicle and fine pigment powder to give a pattern for printing elasticity, and is then bisque-fired or hard-fired. Then, a pattern is transferred onto the glazed layer of a ceramic body having a glazed layer on its surface, and since the resilient pattern acts as a sandblasting protective film, sandblasting is applied over the pattern, This method is characterized by removing the glaze layer in areas other than the pattern, applying a three-dimensional engraved pattern on the ceramic body by spraying abrasive particles, and then vitrifying the glaze layer and simultaneously baking the pattern. The engraving was done by sandblasting on the ceramic body without using a special protective film for sandblasting, and the edges of the engraving were softened by heating at a high temperature of 1300℃ to 1100℃. By creating an inglaze effect where the pattern pigments seep into the glaze of the glazed layer that is vitrified, there is no misalignment between the engraving and the printed pattern, and it is possible to The purpose of this invention is to provide a method for decorating ceramics that mixes three-dimensional patterns and two-dimensional colored patterns in a few steps.

The printing pattern 3 is printed by a screen printing method using an ink prepared by adding inorganic pigment fine powder to a vehicle prepared by mixing at a ratio of 50:50 or 40:60, and then covering it with resin. An overcoat layer 4 made of a solution is applied, and the pattern 3
has a thickness of approximately 20 to 40μ, but has both the abrasion resistance of pigments and the elasticity of resin vehicles, and acts as a sandblasting protective film that resists the destruction of sprayed abrasive particles during sandblasting. This was confirmed.

In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, the surface of an unglazed ceramic body 11 is coated with a glaze in a well-known manner to form a glazed layer 12, and the transfer paper shown in FIG. 1 is coated with water or diluted alcohol. Since slide transfer is performed by getting wet, glaze layer 1 is used for waterproofing.
A filler layer 13 of about 10 μm is formed by spraying an acrylic resin emulsion on the surface of 2. However, when forming the glazed layer 12 by mixing 5 to 10% of the emulsion with the glaze, this layer will slide. In that case, it is not necessary to form the filler layer 13 because the transfer causes hardening that does not dissolve. The filler layer 13 or the emulsion-mixed glaze layer 12 is vaporized or burned out by heating applied later. The manner in which the filler layer 13 is formed will be explained below.
Wet the transfer paper illustrated in the figure, peel off the mount 1, transfer the pattern 3 supported by the overcoat layer 4 by a known sliding method and adhere it as shown in Figure 3, and then as shown in Figure 4. is subjected to sandblasting, and the surface of the ceramic body 11 is scraped by the abrasive particles 21 that are jetted. At that time, the overcoat layer 4 is rapidly broken by the spraying of the abrasive particles 21, but since the pattern 3 has the rigidity and elasticity to repel the particles, the transferred pattern acts as a sandblasting protective film, The directly covering overcoat layer 4 is also spared from partial rapid destruction. Also, pattern 3

3 and the portions of the glazed layer 12 that are not covered by the pattern 3 are destroyed and removed, and the ceramic body 11 is excavated to express a three-dimensional sculpture 15 as shown in FIG.

After the above steps, the ceramic body 11 is placed in a heating furnace and heated to around 1300° C., at which the glaze in the glazed layer becomes vitrified and the unglazed ceramic body 11 is fired. At this time, a very small portion of the pattern 3 adheres to the edge of the engraving 15 on the ceramic body 11 in such a way that it flows and seeps into the edge of the engraving 15, causing a so-called kiln change effect.
Decorate the part. Further, a part of the pigment of the pattern 3 sinks into the glazed layer 12 which is vitrified at high temperature, resulting in inglaze painting. Of course, in order to apply this inglaze painting, it is necessary to select a pigment for pattern 3 that is suitable for it.

The ceramic body 11 can be bisque fired as described above, or can be fired at a higher temperature. In this case, the ceramic body will not shrink due to hardening due to the heat applied after transferring the pattern and spraying the abrasive particles, but the skin of the body to which the abrasive particles have been sprayed has increased hardness, so the pattern cannot be Carvings made by sandblasting to the extent that they are not destroyed will be shallower. For this reason, only if you are satisfied with a shallow engraving.
Uses a hardened ceramic body.

If some of the overcoat layer 4 remains on the pattern 3 at the heating temperature for vitrification of the glaze layer and inglaze painting described above, it will be consumed by oxidation and will be added to the filler layer 13 or the glaze layer 12 as a hardening agent. The mixed resin and the emulsifier that may be mixed in small amounts also disappear.

The method of the present invention is a combination of the steps clarified by the above explanation, and the pattern to be transferred onto the glazed layer applied to an unglazed or hard-fired ceramic body is a sandblasting protective film, and a part of the glazed layer is removed by sandblasting. A three-dimensional engraving is applied to the ceramic body in the area where the transferred pattern is not removed without destroying the transferred pattern, and the pattern is baked with an inglaze effect by heating the glazed layer to a temperature that vitrifies it. The ability to perform sandblast engraving and Inglaze effect pattern printing in an extremely simple series of process steps of image transfer, sandblasting and heating is unprecedented, and the desired decoration can be applied with extreme precision. It has an inventive step.
