手であつて、前記挿入体上に環状溝をまたすえ込
み加工前には前記挿入体から隔てられている前記
金具上に半径方向内側へ延びるリツプ部材を備え
て、前記金具をすえ込む際に前記リツプ部材を前
記溝に係合し、前記金具上に半径方向内側に延び
る環状の押しつぶし可能の停止部材を備え、前記
停止部材の一ラジアル面が前記挿入体の半径方向
外側に延びる受面と接合して前記金具を前記挿入
体に対し長手方向に位置決めするようにし、前記
金具上に半径方向内側に延びるホース停止体を備
え、前記ホース停止体がホースのラジアル端面に
より接合されてすえ込み加工前に前記位置を維持
するようにし、前記挿入体の受面は前記金具がす
え込み加工により圧縮されるラジアル距離以下の
距離だけ半径方向外側に延びるようにしたホース
継手。 2 前記押しつぶし可能の停止部材が前記ホース
停止体を含む特許請求の範囲第1項記載のホース
継手。 3 すえ込み加工前に前記押しつぶし可能の停止
部材が、前記受面に隣接した前記挿入体の外表面
にほぼ相当する内孔を有する特許請求の範囲第1
項又は第2項記載のホース継手。 4 前記挿入体上の環状溝が高さの異なる二つの
ラジアル面の間に形成され、その低い方のラジア
ル面はホースに挿入しうる前記挿入体の部分に隣
接し、且つ前記金具上のリツプ部材は前記溝の面
のいずれかの最大直径よりも直径が大きく、前記
押しつぶし可能の停止部材は前記金具のリツプ部
材から内側に延長し、前記溝の小さい方の面を越
えて通過し該溝の大きい方の面に接してすえ込み
加工前に前記リツプ部材を前記溝と整合するよう
な高さを有する特許請求の範囲第1項記載のホー
ス継手。
[Scope of Claims] 1. The hose coupling of claim 1, wherein the collapsible stop member comprises the hose stop. 3. The crushable stop member, prior to swaging, has an internal bore corresponding approximately to the outer surface of the insert adjacent to the receiving surface.
Hose joint according to item 1 or 2. 4. An annular groove on the insert is formed between two radial surfaces of different heights, the lower radial surface of which is adjacent to the part of the insert that can be inserted into the hose and which is connected to the lip on the fitting. The member has a diameter greater than the largest diameter of either of the faces of the groove, and the crushable stop member extends inwardly from the lip member of the fitting and passes over the smaller face of the groove. 2. A hose joint according to claim 1, having a height such that said lip member is aligned with said groove prior to swaging in contact with a larger surface of said hose joint.
