By the way, the fender section having a downwardly opening shape has a disadvantage in that air bubbles inevitably accumulate inside the fender section, making it impossible to complete painting.

For this reason, near the bottom of the electrocoating tank on the entry side,
An attempt was made to paint the inside of the fender by installing a jet nozzle that spouted the electrocoating liquid toward the inside of the fender, and moving the air bubbles accumulated inside the fender with the ejected electrocoating liquid.
This is proposed in Publication No. 32525, etc.

As a result of various studies on the reasons for this, the inventors of the present invention found that in electro-deposition coating, coating starts from the parts where the electric resistance with the electrode is small, and in the case of the car body, the painting starts from the outer surface of the car body outer panel. , etc., and as in the conventional example,
Even if you move the air bubbles inside the fender on the tank entry side,
At this time, this area has not yet been electro-deposited, so its effect is almost ineffective, and also because air bubbles that adhere to the bottom of the car body floor migrate and adhere to the inside of the fender. I found out that.

The present invention has been made based on the above-mentioned findings, and its purpose is to provide paint that is located near the bottom of the electrocoating tank in a zigzag pattern below the vehicle body being transported in the tank. A first jet nozzle that spouts electrocoating liquid toward the bottom of the floor of the car body, and a fender located below the car body and directly below the inside of the fender of the car body near the bottom of the outlet side of the electrocoat tank. A second spray nozzle is provided to spray the electrocoating liquid toward the inside, and before the inside of the fender is electrocoated, the electrocoat liquid sprayed from the first spray nozzle moves the air bubbles that adhere to the bottom of the floor. When the inside of the fender is being electrocoated, the electrocoating liquid ejected from the second jet nozzle moves the air bubbles inside the fender to perform electrocoating, and the inside of the fender and the bottom of the floor are completely electrocoated. An object of the present invention is to provide an electrodeposition coating device that can perform electrocoating.

FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram of the main parts of the electrodeposition coating apparatus of the present invention, in which 1 is a conveyor stretched above the electrodeposition coating tank 4, a hanger 2 is attached to this conveyor 1, and a hanger 2 is attached to the conveyor 1. A vehicle body 3, which is an object, is suspended and immersed in an electrodeposition coating tank 4 and transported from the tank entry side (right side in the figure) to the exit tank side. On the other hand, in the outlet side bottom 5 of the electrocoating tank 4, a pipe 8 having a plurality of second jet nozzles 9 for jetting the paint liquid 7 upward is provided at a position facing the fender 3a of the vehicle body 3. A branch pipe 11 from a circulation pipe 10 is connected to this pipe 8, which leads the paint liquid 7 from the overflow tank 6 and the paint liquid 7 from the bottom 5.

Specifically, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the pipe 8 having the second jet nozzle 9 is composed of a pair of pipes. In addition to the pipe 8, a plurality of pipes 13 are provided at the bottom 5 of the electrodeposition coating tank 4 in parallel to the width direction of the tank. Note that the pipe 13 is also connected to a circulation pipe (not shown) via a branch pipe 15. The lower surface of the pipe 13 is provided with an ejection nozzle 14 that ejects the paint liquid 7 diagonally downward toward the input tank side, causes convection of the paint in the direction of arrow A in FIG. 2, and prevents the paint from settling. First spray nozzles 14' are provided in a zigzag pattern on the upper surface of the pipe from approximately the center of the paint tank 4 to the outlet side to spray the paint liquid 7 upward one by one, so that the paint liquid 7 adheres to the floor of the vehicle body 3. The paint is created by moving the air bubbles that form.

Therefore, when the car body 3 is immersed in the paint solution 7 from the inlet side of the electrodeposition coating tank 4 and transported to the outlet side by the conveyor 1, the car body 3 will be transferred to the outside of the outer panel as described above. It is painted sequentially from the beginning, and almost all parts except the inside of the fender 3a are painted until it reaches the tank outlet side. Before that, the small bubbles adhering to the bottom surface of the floor of the vehicle body 3 are moved to the outside of the vehicle body 3 or the inside of the fender by the first jet nozzle 14'. Then, when the vehicle body 3 comes to the tank exit position,
The inside of the fender 3a receives the jet stream from the second jet nozzle 9, and the air bubbles inside the fender are moved or discharged, and during this time, the inside of the fender is completely coated. Furthermore, the bottom surface of the floor is also completely coated by the first jet nozzle 14'.

As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, the first electrode is positioned near the bottom of the electrocoating tank in a zigzag shape below the car body being transported in the tank, and is directed toward the bottom surface of the floor of the car body. While ejecting the electrocoating liquid from the ejection nozzle, a second ejecting liquid is ejected toward the inside of the fender, located below the car body and directly below the inside of the fender of the car body, near the bottom of the outlet side of the electrocoat tank. Electrodeposition paint liquid is ejected from the nozzle to effectively move air bubbles inside the floor bottom and inside the fender when painting the inside of the fender, so the inside of the fender and the bottom of the floor can be completely painted.
