ツプを多系に分割したスリツトコイルをグリツプ
する前記グリツプ装置におけるグリツパーバーは
その軸方向に沿つて厚みがフラツトな一体物で形
成されているためコイルが多条にスリツトされて
いる場合には前工程のストリツプ圧延設備におけ
るロールクラウンや材料の変形抵抗の関係でスト
リツプ板幅の中央部が厚く出来あがり、その結果
ストリツプが多条にスリツトされた場合は、スト
リツプの板幅中央部に相当する分割ストリツプは
グリツプされるが板幅方向の両端部に相当する分
割ストリツプはグリツプされず、テンシヨンリー
ルに巻きとる際にストリツプが抜けてしまうこと
がしばしば発生し、その都度ストリツプの巻戻し
を行なつた後に、かませものを入れてストリツプ
を再度巻取る作業をくり返している。従つて多条
ストリツプの同時巻取の作業効率を落し且つシヤ
ープに切られたストリツプの切り口の取扱いが多
くなり危険な作業が増える欠点があつた。

ると共にグリツパーセグメントに設けられた駆動

と、前記間隙内に配設されると共に前記ウエツジ
の傾斜面と接する複数の別の傾斜面を有しこのウ
エツジの移動に応動してグリツパーセグメントの
半径方向に移動操作されるグリツパーバーとを備
えたものからなるストリツプのグリツプ装置にお
いて、前記間隙に面して存在するグリツパーバー
或はグリツパーガイドの一方に弾性体を介してグ
リツパーセグメントの軸方向に沿つて複数個に分
割された押え部材を設けて該間隙内に導かれた複
数条のストリツプ端を夫々挾持するようにした構
成にある。

以下本発明の一実施例であるテンシヨンリール
ドラムのグリツプ装置を図面を用いて説明する。

巻取軸となるグリツパーセグメント1にはその軸
方向に沿つてグリツパーガイド2がボルトにより
取付けられ、両者間にはストリツプ端を導く為の
開口部Hがストリツプ板厚+αの間隙を有するよ
うに形成されており、そこにストリツプ端が挿入
されグリツプされる。グリツパーセグメント1の
他端にはシリンダー11が内蔵されており、この
シリンダー11の駆動操作によりピストン6はグ
リツパーセグメント1の軸方向に沿つて往復動す
る。またグリツパーセグメント1の軸方向に沿つ
て複数の傾射面を有するウエツジ4は前記ピスト
ン6と連結されたロツド7により同様に軸方向に
往復動する。ウエツジ4はウエツジ4の各傾斜面
に対応して形成された同じく複数の傾斜面を有す
るグリツパーバー3と接触し、両者の傾斜面の相
対位置変化によりウエツジ4の往復動をグリツパ
ーバー3の上下又は左右動に変えてグリツパーバ
ー3とグリツパーガイド2との間の間隙寸法を変
化させ、両者間でスリツプ端をグリツプする。し
かしながら前述のようにストリツプが板幅方向に
板厚の差があること又、分割された各条のストリ
ツプ板厚差が一定でないことから板幅方向に多条
に分割されたストリツプを確実にグリツプするた
めに本発明では第3図、第4図及び第5図に示す
様に、開口部Hに面したグリツパーバー3の面、
又はグリツパーガイド2の面のどちらか一方に分
割ストリツプの各条に対応して弾性体10を介し
て軸方向に複数個に分割された押え板8をボルト
9にて取りつけたものである。この様な構成にし
たことによつてストリツプの板幅方向の改厚差に
各々追従してストリツプを押える押え板8が弾性
体10の変形により板厚に応じた間隙値となるよ
うに位置変化して分割された各条の板厚に応じた
間隙値を確保することから、各条のストリツプ端
部を同時に且つ確実にグリツプすることが出来、
ストリツプ端が抜けることが防止される。
