Conventional methods for transporting billets include transporting them one tier at a time on a trolley or stacking them in multiple tiers. In particular, in the stacking method, a square piece of wood or steel is placed between the upper and lower billets by hand, etc. It is arranged on the side billet, and the upper side billet is stacked on top of it. When the billet is at room temperature or relatively low temperature, a lifting magnet can be used to load and unload the billet, but due to its nature, lifting magnets can be used to load and unload billets at high temperatures, for example around 1000 degrees Celsius. cannot be used. In recent years, from the standpoint of energy conservation, it has become desirable to transfer or transport billets from the billet casting process to rolling and other processing processes at a high temperature of 1000°C or higher.
When using a crane or roller conveyor to transport billets, small amounts of billets are transported, which results in large heat dissipation and a significant drop in temperature during transport.
It also has disadvantages such as high equipment costs and running costs.

In view of this, the present invention aims to reduce the drop in high temperature caused by the casting process or heating process, and to facilitate loading and unloading for transportation.

In addition, a fixed pedestal 2 is provided on the refractory brick R of this trolley 1 in order to place the first stage billet B1. The filling is billet B
A movable gantry device K is provided so as to be inserted under the truck 1 and opposite the front and rear ends of the truck. As shown in detail in FIG. 3, this movable frame device K includes a cylinder (or electric cylinder) 3 that is operated by hydraulic pressure or air pressure provided at the bottom of the truck, and is supported at the top of the truck so as to swing in the longitudinal direction of the truck. It consists of a movable stand 5 constructed on a swinging arm 4 and a lever device for connecting and driving the cylinder 3 and the swinging arm 4. The swinging arm 4 is connected to a support shaft 6
The swinging arms 4 are supported in such a way that they can swing freely on a truck, with the upper part of the arm protruding above the truck and the lower part of the arm protruding below the truck. Place it as. At this time, the support shafts 6 of each swing arm 4 may be independent, but may also be a single shaft. A movable pedestal 5 is connected between the upper ends of the opposing swinging arms by a bridge shaft 7, so that the movable pedestal 5 is rotatable with respect to the swinging arm 4 about the shaft 7 as a fulcrum. The movable pedestal 5 is shaped like a square piece (made of metal, preferably heat-resistant) that is defined so as to leave a predetermined distance between the first billet B1 and the second billet B2. Also, a locking pin 8 is provided at the lower end of each swing arm 4.
One end of the connecting rod 9 is inserted into and supported through the elongated hole 9a, and the tip of the connecting rod 9 is pivotally connected via a pin 12 to the tip of a link 11 projecting from a shaft 10. This shaft 10 is supported horizontally at the bottom of the truck via a bearing 13, and has a short link 14 protruding from the center thereof, and the rod end of the cylinder 3 is connected to the tip of this link 14 via a pin 15. It pivots. Therefore, by operating the cylinder 3, link 1
4 through the shaft 10, two links 11, 11 protruding from both ends of the shaft transmit the cylinder operation to the connecting rod 9, and the rod 9 synchronizes the two swing arms 4, 4. It is designed to be swung by the user. In this case, since the lengths of the links 11 and 14 are different, even if the stroke of the cylinder is short, the swinging arm can swing sufficiently, and the lower end of the swinging arm and the connecting rod are Since the pivoting is done using a slotted hole and a pin, when the swinging arm crosses the dead center, it will swing automatically under the weight of the frame, etc., even if it swings in any direction, without operating the cylinder. Moreover, the load of billet B2 on the mount is the same as that of the movable mount 5.
The swing arm or connecting rod can be connected directly to the lower billet B1 through the. Link. This prevents it from getting on the cylinder, etc.

The movable platform devices configured as described above are installed facing each other at the front and rear of the truck, but when the swinging arms swing inward from each other, that is, in opposite directions, the space between the opposing movable cargo platforms 5 and 5 is stacked. billet B1, B2
On the other hand, the amount of swinging of the arm 4 is determined so that the length of the movable loading platforms 5, 5 is greater than the length of the billets B1, B2 when swinging outward.
Furthermore, although the above device is an embodiment in which billets are stacked in two tiers, when billets are stacked in three or more tiers, it can be used by arranging two or more of the devices shown in Fig. 3. , and FIG. 6 shows an example of a three-tier structure and mounted on a truck.

Therefore, when stacking billets on a truck, the first stage of billets is loaded onto the fixed pedestal, and then the second stage of billets is loaded by swinging the movable pedestal onto the billet. In this way, two and three tier billets are stacked by sequentially swinging the movable frame, and loading and unloading is done from the upper tier side, and when loading and unloading the lower tier billets, the movable frame is swung outward and the billets are loaded and unloaded from the upper tier side. This is done by moving it from above.
