The above method using a belt has advantages such as a simple structure, no timing required, and compactness, but on the other hand, it causes copy defects on all the side edges, and since peeling occurs only on one side, the other end, i.e., is free. There are definite drawbacks, such as the transfer paper rising at the edges and the need for a large space to avoid collisions of the transfer materials. In addition, it is actually difficult to separate using only a belt, so in the case of this technology, the belt and separation roller are pressed together and the paper is sandwiched between them, or an endless belt is wrapped around a part of the circumference of the separation roller and separation is performed between the two. It is necessary to hold the paper between the two. However, this does not avoid disadvantages such as a significant reduction in the life of the belt, dirt on the belt adhering to the transfer paper, and the inability to approach the drum. In addition, in order to reduce the lifting caused by conventional one-sided peeling, some devices have auxiliary peeling bodies arranged close to each other at sequentially shifted angles or heights in the rotational direction of the photosensitive drum, but this requires space. However, the optimal arrangement angle or height of the auxiliary release body differs depending on the stiffness of the transfer paper. Causes blockage.

The device of the present invention, which has been developed for the purpose of eliminating the above-mentioned drawbacks, holds an image at least at a corner of the transfer paper at a corner of one end of the transfer paper or at a position corresponding to the one end with respect to an image holding member such as a drum. It consists of a member that is separated from the member, and a transfer paper scraping member that runs from the corner along the front edge of the transfer paper. Therefore, the present invention has the following advantages.

In other words, copy loss can be limited to only one corner of the leading edge of the transfer paper, there is no lifting of the free edge, no special paper holding member is required, and it is not affected by the stiffness of the transfer paper. The present invention skillfully utilizes the conveying force caused by electrostatic adsorption between the drum and the transfer material. More specifically, a claw-like member is used to create a small gap between the paper and the drum at the corner of one tip of the paper. Using the gap as a trigger, the entire leading edge of the paper is peeled off from the drum by a paper scraping member that scans the leading edge of the paper from the surface of the paper almost parallel to the drum axis direction, and the conveying direction of the paper is removed from the drum. Since this action is performed using the leading edge of the paper, it does not cause any disturbance in the drawing lines on the paper.

Further, according to the present invention, the transfer paper from which one end has been peeled is immediately and uniformly peeled from the front edge to the other end, so that there is no peeling delay and reliable peeling is achieved. Furthermore, since the film is peeled off uniformly as described above, there is no need to provide a roller conveying means that is conventionally required.

FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a transfer machine peeling device of the present invention. In this figure, a member that provides an opportunity for peeling, that is, a peeling claw 2, is set at a position corresponding to a corner of one end of the transfer paper with respect to the drum 1. A scraping member 4, which is kept at a certain distance so as not to come into contact with the drum 1, is fixed near the peeling claw 2 on a wire 5 running along the axial direction of the drum, and the wire 5 is connected to a pair of scraping members 4. It is installed between pulleys 6 and 6'. One pulley 6' is connected to a motor M, and the other pulley 6 is equipped with a return spring 7, so that the scraping member 4 can reciprocate between 6 and 6'.

Next, its operation will be explained. Figure 2 shows the peeling claw 2.
This shows the condition that triggered the peeling. As shown in the figure, only the corners of the paper are slightly separated from the drum 1, but the other parts remain electrostatically attracted to the drum 1. If this state remains, the corner portion will pass through the peeling claw 2 and be re-adsorbed onto the drum 1 due to the adsorption force of the paper. FIG. 3 shows a part of the operating state of the scraping member. A sensor (not shown) provided at the transfer paper supply port detects the leading edge of the paper, and when the leading edge aligns with the peeling claw, the scraping member 4 is operated. The sensor may be located between the transfer paper supply section and the peeling section. FIG. 3 shows a state in which the scraping member 4 has moved to the center of the leading edge of the transfer paper. In reality, the speed of the scraping member is very fast and the transfer paper is scraped off instantly, so there is almost no lifting due to delay. The scraping member can be returned to its home position instantly from the end point using a spring as shown in Figure 1, but it is safer to drop it completely into the conveyance path 3 and then return it to prevent disturbances in the image area. It is. Further, the scraping member may be timed in synchronization with the sensor and returned to its normal position before the next peeling. The shape of the scraping member 4 is arcuate as shown in Figures 1 and 3, but as shown in Figure 4, a thin round rod like a is used to reduce the contact height with the paper as much as possible. Alternatively, the shape may be such that only the leading edge of the transfer paper moves along it as shown in b. Furthermore, the present invention is highly effective in preventing the free end from lifting up even with a combination of a separation belt or a plate and a scraping member, and it is possible to omit members such as separation rollers and turn rollers that were required in the conventional separation belt system. It is what it is. In addition, although the running path of the scraping member 4 was parallel to the drum axis in this embodiment, it was run so as to gradually move away from the drum surface, but it was possible to reduce the running speed and reduce the impact on the paper scraping member. It is effective in the sense of alleviation.

Further, the effects of the present invention can be further increased by providing an electrostatic attraction member or a vacuum attraction means on the conveyance path in order to more strongly adhere the paper to the conveyance path.
