These are insulated with the same SF 6 gas and can have the same gas pressure, making connection very easy. Furthermore, since it is suitable for carrying large currents, it is being used in parts of power transmission lines. Construction is also carried out in a variety of ways, including above ground, on a trestle, in a trench, in a tunnel, or directly buried.

The welded part is surrounded by the pad that is in contact with this packing, and the welded part is welded by cutting the welded part and the inside of the container. However, there was a drawback that the gas in the surrounding area expanded due to the welding heat and the pressure increased, which could have an adverse effect on the welded area.

In Figs. 1 to 8, 1 and 2 are cylindrical outer jackets made of aluminum or the like and arranged so that welded parts 1a and 2a facing each other are welded together, and 3 is the welded part. 1a and 2a are pads that are placed inside the outer covers 1 and 2 facing each other, and have grooves 3a and 3 on the outer periphery of both ends.
b, and the outer periphery is sloped from the center to both ends to facilitate insertion of the outer covers 1 and 2. Reference numeral 4 denotes a heat-resistant rubber gasket having a ring shape and disposed within the grooves 3a and 3b, and is provided with contact portions 4a and 4b facing each other at a predetermined interval. In addition, both gaskets 4, 4 have welded parts 1a, 2.
They are arranged on both sides of a so as to surround the welded parts 1a and 2a. 5 is a dustproof material made of glass fiber having heat resistance and air permeability, and covers the gasket 4. Note that the dustproof material 5 may be made of a metal mesh pipe or the like as long as it can block particles exceeding a predetermined size. Reference numerals 6 and 7 are conductors disposed within the outer sheaths 1 and 2, 8 is a supporting member that supports the conductor 6, and 9 is a sliding contact, which is connected to both the conductors 6 and 7.

Filled with SF6 gas. In this case, the packing 4 prevents spatter during welding from entering the outer sheaths 1 and 2, and the dustproof material 5
to prevent damage from spatter. In addition, the gas in the area surrounded by the packing 4 expands due to welding heat, but it moves through the dustproof material 5 at the abutting parts 4a and 4b of the packing 4, so that the gas in the part surrounded by the packing 4 and the welding Since pressure increase in the welded parts 1a and 2a can be prevented, adverse effects such as gas entering the welded parts 1a and 2a and formation of blowholes can be eliminated.
