In FIG. 1, 1 indicates an example of a photosensitive element.
A photoconductive element made of CDS, 2 and 3 are light emitting elements each made of a neon tube, and 4 to 6 are resistors. 7
is a light shielding device that blocks out external light, and a cross-sectional view of this device is shown in FIG. In the figure, a light shielding device 7 is made of synthetic resin or the like. 8 is a storage chamber for the light emitting element 2, 9 is a storage chamber for the light emitting element 3, and 10 is a storage chamber for the photoconductive element 1. 11 is a light emitting element 2
It is an optical path that guides light from 12 to photoconductive element 1.
is an optical path that guides light from the light emitting element 3 to the photoconductive element 1. Reference numeral 13 denotes a shutter that controls light from the light emitting element 3 to the photoconductive element 1. As shown in FIG. The light is cut off. When the manual switch 14 is pressed against the spring 15, the window 16 faces the optical path 12, and the light from the light emitting element 3 passes through the optical path 12 to the photoconductive element 1.

Windows 17 and 18 are provided for 3, and window 17 is placed in a position where the light passing through it illuminates the back of the transmissive liquid crystal panel 19 shown in FIG. The light is the power outage display part 2 of the outer frame 20 of the clock.
It is placed in a position that illuminates the back of 1.

Next, the operation will be explained. If the power outage is now canceled, voltage E will be applied to the circuit shown in FIG. Therefore, a lighting voltage is applied to the light emitting element 3, causing it to light up. Therefore, the light passing through the window 18 lights up the power outage display section 21 shown in FIG. 5, indicating that the power outage has been lifted. So manual switch 1
4, the light from the light emitting element 3 passes through the window 18 and hits the photoconductive element 1. Therefore, the resistance value of the photoconductive element 1 decreases, and the voltage between the terminals of the light emitting element 3 decreases below the lighting voltage, and the light is turned off. On the other hand, a lighting voltage is applied to the light-emitting element 2 as the resistance value of the photoconductive element 1 decreases, so the light-emitting element 2 lights up and illuminates the liquid crystal panel 19 shown in FIG. 4, so that the time display can be clearly recognized. let Furthermore, since the light from the light emitting element 2 is sent to the photoconductive element 1 through the optical path 11 shown in FIG. 2, its resistance value is suppressed to a low value and the light emitting element 2 continues to be lit.

In this embodiment, an example of a liquid crystal watch was explained, but
The present invention is not limited to this, and the present invention may be a clock in which a pattern of time numerals is formed on an endless film and the film is illuminated with a light emitting element 2 to display the time. In addition, not only watches, but also manual switches equipped with an optical display section have a section display section that displays a power outage in a part of the light display section, and a window 18 is provided on the back side corresponding to the section display section. The switch may be configured by providing a window 17 on the back side of the switch. By doing this, it is possible to immediately check from the classification display section when the voltage applied to the device operated by the manual switch is turned off, and the specified light display can be performed with just one operation of the manual switch. can be set.

As described in detail above, the present invention controls the illumination from the light emitting element for power supply display to the photosensitive element by manual operation, and further controls the operation of the photosensitive element by the illumination from the light emitting element for predetermined display. Since the two light-emitting elements are selectively turned on by the operation of the photosensitive element, a power outage can be indicated with a simple circuit configuration, and the specified display state can be returned to with a single operation of a manual switch. This can be done very quickly. In addition, since the passage of light is controlled by a manual switch, there is no need to worry about the reliability of the switch, compared to the case where an electric switch is used to turn off the light by shooting both terminals of a light emitting element for indicating power supply. Moreover, there is an effect that problems such as noise when switching the switch do not occur.
