As shown in Fig. 1, a conventionally commonly used holder for automobile window glass consists of a plurality of holders b each having a U-groove that can hold the lower edge of the window glass a.
, a guide channel c connecting these holders b, a driving arm e and a driven arm f supporting a roller d rolling within this guide channel, and a mechanism for moving the driving arm e in the vertical direction. Since this mechanism is equipped with a drive mechanism g, this mechanism has many component parts, and accordingly, it takes time and money to assemble the holder, and furthermore, the cost is high due to the large number of parts. There was an inconvenience. In addition, due to the large number of component parts in the mechanism, the weight of the entire mechanism for holding the window glass and raising and lowering the glass increases, so in today's world, there is a need to reduce the weight of the vehicle body, and the structure for raising and lowering the vehicle has to be simplified. was what was required.

The present invention has been made in view of the above, and includes a vehicle window glass holder that connects the flexible shaft and the window glass in a window glass elevator that uses a flexible shaft to raise and lower the window glass of an automobile. It is composed of two parts: a bracket fixed to a flexible shaft and a holder that holds the window glass, which simplifies the structure of the window glass holder and makes it cheaper and lighter. The connection has a fitting structure, so that the two can be combined and assembled without the need for special fixing fittings, fixing tools, etc., and the workability of assembling the window glass holder can be improved. This is what I did.

First, the manner of use of the window glass holder according to the present invention will be explained with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3. That is, the window glass holder 1 according to the present invention has a window glass 2
The flexible shaft 3 formed in a coil shape is integrated with the flexible shaft 3. The flexible shaft 3 is inserted and held in an outer tube 4 embedded in a vehicle door (not shown), for example, and is provided in the window glass holder 1 in the generatrix direction of the outer tube 4. A slit 6 is formed into which the flexible shaft fixing part 5 is loosely fitted. Further, a gear 7 is meshed with the coiled flexible shaft, and this gear 7 is provided with a handle 8. Therefore, by rotating the gear 7 with the handle 8, the flexible shaft 3 moves in the axial direction inside the outer tube 4, and the moving force of the flexible shaft 3 is applied to the window glass 2 via the window glass holder 1. The window glass 2 is raised and lowered by the transmission.
The present invention has a feature in the structure of the window glass holder 1 used in the window glass elevator having such a structure, and the structure of the window glass holder 1 will be specifically described below.

The structure of the holder 11 has been described above. Next, the structure of the bracket 12 will be described. This bracket 12 has a main body 17 which has an opening on the front side and has a substantially rectangular cylindrical shape in plan. A through hole 18 into which the elastic piece 16 falls is formed in the wall, and a cylindrical flexible shaft fixing part 5 extending in the vertical direction is integrally formed on the outside of the back surface of the main body 17.

The explanation so far is holder 11 and bracket 12.
Next, the connection between the holder 11 and the bracket 12 will be described. When the plate-shaped main body 13 of the holder 11 is inserted into the rectangular cylindrical main body 17 of the bracket 12, the bracket 12
The elastic piece 15 of the holder 11 is brought into contact with the rim of the main body. When the holder 11 is further pushed in against the elastic force of the elastic piece 15, the through hole 1 of the bracket 12 is opened.
The elastic piece 16 of the holder 11 falls into the inside of the bracket 8 and is locked, and the holder 11 is held against the bracket 12.
The window glass holder 1 is constructed by being integrally fitted without play. Incidentally, as another embodiment of the holder 11, the one shown in FIG. 7 can also be used. That is, this holder 11' has a glass holding part 14' having a substantially U-shaped groove on the side surface for gripping and holding the window glass 2 on the upper edge of the plate-shaped main body 13', and also has a glass holding part 14' having a substantially U-shaped groove on the side surface for holding the window glass 2 in its mouth. A pair of left and right elastic pieces 15' that are biased downward are formed on the end bottom surface. Further, hook portions 19 extending outward are formed on both side edges of the main body 13.
An inclined side 20 is formed below 9 and is inclined toward the center. In addition, a notch 21 that opens at the lower end is formed in the center of the plate-like main body 13', and flexible elastic parts 13'' on both sides of which allow the hooks 19 to move slightly inwardly. Therefore, the holder 11'
When the flexible elastic portion 13'' and the plate-shaped main body 13' are inserted into the rectangular cylindrical main body 17 of the bracket 12, the elastic piece 15 of the holder 11 comes into contact with the upper edge of the main body of the bracket 12, and the holder 11 The hook portion 19 of the bracket 11' falls into the through hole 18 of the bracket 12 and is locked therein, and the holder 11' is integrally fitted to the bracket 12 without play, thereby forming the window glass holder 1. In this embodiment, the hook portion 19 of the holder 11' is attached to the bracket 12.
The shape may be designed so that it is locked to the lower opening edge.

Window glass holder 1 formed as above
As mentioned before, the glass holding part 14,
14' to hold the lower edge of the window glass 2 in your mouth, and then insert the flexible shaft 3 into the flexible shaft fixing part 5, caulking the shaft fixing part 5, and connect the flexible shaft 3 and the shaft fixing part 5. If they are integrally connected, when the flexible shaft 3 is slid in the axial direction by operating the handle 8, the window glass 2 is moved up and down as the window glass holder 1 is operated.

As described above, the window glass holder 1 according to the present invention
Since the window glass holder is composed of two members, the holder 11 and the bracket 12, the number of component parts can be reduced, and a window glass holder can be provided at low cost, and it can also be lightweight.

In addition, when connecting the holder 11 and the bracket 12, the two are assembled together by simply fitting them together without using any connecting parts, so the assembly process is easy and labor costs are reduced. It's also effective. Another advantage is that the slanted side 20 allows the holder 11 to be easily inserted into the bracket 12.
