Description
【発明の詳細な説明】
本願は、スパイラル型エレメントを有するオイ
ルフイルタの改良およびその製造方法に関するも
のである。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present application relates to an improvement in an oil filter having a spiral type element and a method for manufacturing the same.
本願の対象とするオイルフイルタは、円筒ケー
シング内にスパイラル型エレメントを内蔵させて
成るものである。スパイラル型エレメントは、平
板材と波板材とを重ねその両端を交互にシー
ルしたものを中芯円筒の周りにスパイラル状に巻
層させたものである。かかる構造のエレメントを
円筒ケーシング内に装着する場合、従来のものに
あつては、前記エレメント外周面に接着剤を塗布
するか、あるいは前記ケーシング内周面に接着剤
を塗布し、これによつて両者間に生ずる間隙を埋
めシールを確保するものであつた。しかしなが
ら、このようなものでは接着剤層が一様になら
ず、また前記エレメントに掛る力によつて接着剤
層を剥離させ、シール性を損なうに至らしめると

実施例により本発明のフイルタおよびその製造
方法を説明すると、第1図は本発明のフイルタ
で、開放端を有する円筒ケーシング2内に、スパ
イラル型エレメント1を収納させたものである。
スパイラル型エレメント1は、第2図、第3図の
ように平板紙3とこれを波形成型した、交互に
山部4aおよび谷部4bを有する波板紙4とを
重ね、その一端の山部4aと他端の谷部4bとを
接着剤で充填シール15a,15bしたものを中
芯円筒5の周りに巻層し、終端を巻止めて形成し

よつて繊維質紙で成り弾性を有する前記エレメ
ントはケーシング2内周面の溝に向け押圧された

た円筒ケーシング内にスパイラル型エレメントを
挿設するものでなく、前記エレメントとケーシン
グとを一体化した後で、ビード加工し環状溝を形
成するものであるから前記エレメントの挿設にと
