However, since it was made of a long thin rectangular rubber bag with a flat surface, it was flexible to some bending, but the way the cuff was wrapped could be deflected, or the cuff could be bent from the outside. When pressed, the sound collection cuff partially bends, blocking the air passage, making it difficult to accurately detect Korotkoff sounds. In addition, irregular wrinkles occur on the sound collecting surface of the sound collecting cuff,
There was a problem that it was difficult to accurately detect Korotkoff sounds because they were not in close contact with the upper arm of the human body.

In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a sound-collecting cuff (Korotkoff sound detection air bag) made of an elastic material such as rubber, and its sound-collecting surface 2 is integrated so as to form a part of the upper arm contact surface of the ischemic cuff 7. The sound collecting surface 2 is formed in a wavy shape to form a wavy film 4. Therefore, the thickness of the film on the sound collecting surface 2 is substantially uniform over the entire surface, but since it is wavy, it comes into close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the upper arm 8, causing irregular wrinkles. Never. 6
is a conduit connected to the middle part of the sound collection cuff 1, and is connected to the air inlet 11. Reference numeral 7 denotes a blood-isolating cuff, which is equipped to form a sound-collecting surface 2 of the sound-collecting cuff 1 on a part of its upper arm contact surface. It protrudes into space.

The wrapped state is shown in FIGS. 5 and 6.

After pressurizing to a specified pressure, if you gradually exhaust the air,
Korotkoff sounds (cardiac pulse sounds) are picked up in the sound collection cuff 1 by blood flow passing through the compressed blood vessels 8a when the air pressure of the ischemic cuff 7 is reduced below a certain level, and are picked up by the microphone inside the cuff 1. can detect sound.

It can be brought into close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the columnar human upper arm 8.

ができる効果がある。 As described above, the cuff band for a blood pressure monitor of the present invention is designed to be wrapped around the upper arm of a human body, and includes a sound collecting cuff with a built-in microphone, the sound collecting surface of which forms a part of the upper arm abutting surface of the ischemic cuff. In the cuff band for blood pressure measurement equipped with the sound collecting cuff, the film on the sound collecting surface of the sound collecting cuff is uniformly formed in a wave shape, so the thickness of the film is constant, and since the film has a wave shape, it can be applied to the upper arm of the human body. When wrapped around the body, it is easy to bring the sound collecting surface into close contact with the outer circumferential surface of the skin without causing irregular wrinkles, and when the sound collection surface is in close contact with the outer circumferential surface, the Korotkoff sound from the upper arm of the human body is transmitted through the bottom of the corrugated membrane and spreads over the entire sound collecting surface. Therefore, the Korotkoff sounds can be effectively picked up by the microphone housed in the inner space of the sound collection cuff, and the sensitivity of blood pressure measurement can be increased.

The Korotkoff sounds resonating in the internal space of the ischemic cuff can also be collected from the back of the membrane of the sound collecting cuff, which has the effect of making the detection of Korotkoff sounds more effective.
