Conventionally, such devices as shown in FIG. 1 A and B have been used. In the figure, 1 is a hopper, 2 is a form, 3 is a pick crawler, 4 is a reading section, 5 is a stop section, 6 is a selection section, and 7
is an accept status, and 8 is a reject status. The top surface of the form 2 stacked on the hopper 1 is brought into pressure contact with a pick roller 3 driven by a motor, and the rotation of the pick roller 3 feeds out the form 2. After the form data is read by the reading unit 4, The document is stopped by the stop section 5, and the selection section 6 is activated in response to a command to select a normal document or an error document, and the document 2 is stored in either an accept stacker 7 or a reject stacker 8.

The position must be separated from the reading section 4 by a distance equal to or longer than the length of the form 2, and therefore a large space is required for the stop section 5.
The device was made larger. Furthermore, since an electromagnetic clutch brake is used as a mechanism for the stop section 5 to ensure that the form 2 is stopped before the selection section 6, there are problems such as high cost.

The above-mentioned purpose is achieved by making the structure housed in a statuka and a redirect statuka.

After reading the form information, the form running path a is inclined diagonally downward to make it a horizontal feeding path near the stop part 5, and the rear end d of the form 2 is moved by the rollers of the stop part 5.
The form 2 is stopped at a position where it does not come off the roller. The rollers of this stop section 5 are rotated forward and backward by a pulse motor or the like, so that they can be controlled to move the form 2 forward and backward. Rotate the roller in the normal direction, move the form 2 forward, and accept the stacker 7.
to be accommodated. A form running path b is provided, and a form running path c is provided so as to coincide with the form running path b on the same plane so that the rollers are reversed so that the form 2 can be retreated and stored in the reject stacker 8. At the branching points of the form feeding paths a, b, and c, a chamfered portion 9 is provided on the redirect stacker 8 side, and the form 2
The form 2 is separated so that when it is redirected, it easily flows into the form running path c and does not flow back into the form running path a. Further, as a mechanism for further ensuring prevention of backflow into the form running path a when the form 2 is rejected, a mechanism shown in FIG. 3A can be considered. In other words, form running path a is changed to form running path b.
Match on the same plane as Reject Statka 8
A form running path c is provided diagonally at the top, and a leaf spring 10 is provided at the running path at the branch point of the form running path a, b, and c, and one of the springs 10 is fixed, and the other is brought into contact with the bottom of the running path a. As shown in FIG. 3B, the contact portion is provided with uneven portions at the tip of the spring 10 and at the bottom of the traveling paths a and b, and is designed to maintain a pressing force of several tens of grams. The form 2 read by the reading section 4 is pushed up by the leaf spring 10 and passes, and is stopped by the roller of the stop section 5' at a position where the rear end d of the form 2 does not come off the roller. When the form 2 is moved backward by the redirect command, the tip of the form 2 retreating is guided by the leaf spring 10 and reliably flows into the form running path c.
There is no possibility of a reverse flow into the form travel path a.

The surface of is made of a high friction material such as rubber or has a shape with protrusions as shown in FIG. This prevents it from flowing back into the form travel path a. Note that the roller 11 rotates only in the direction of the arrow.

A guide plate 12 for separating and selecting the form 2 is provided, and when the form 2 is retracted by a redirect command, the guide plate 12 guides the form 2 to reject it.
It is made to flow into the stacker 8 and not return to the reading section 4. In FIG. 6, a spring plate 14 having the same structure as the spring plate described above is provided on the guide plate 13. The form 2 read by the reading section 4 pushes up the spring plate 14 and passes through the roller of the stop section 5'. When the form 2 is stopped at the position shown in the figure and the form 2 is moved backward by the redirect command, the form 2 is guided by the leaf spring 14 and reliably flows into the form running path c.
It is arranged so that it does not return to the reading section 4.

In this case, the rejected form 2 is stored in the reject stacker 8 with the information recording side facing up, so that the rejected form can be easily viewed. In addition, since the normal forms 2 stored in the accept stacker 7 are stored with the information recording side facing down, when setting the forms in the hopper of the reading device again, the forms are removed from the stacker and placed in the hopper. When inserted, the form information side will be on the bottom, which is convenient.

In this case, the length L from the reading section 4 to the roller of the stop section 5' can be made very small as long as the terminal end d of the form 2 does not come off the roller. Conventionally, the length of the stop part had to be longer than the length of the form (a form is 30 cm), but with the method of the present invention, it can be made smaller by the length of the form, making it more compact and suitable for desktop devices. realizable. In addition, by using a pulse motor or the like to control the drive of the rollers at the stop portion, the electromagnetic clutch brake mechanism required in the prior art is not required, resulting in an inexpensive and simple structure.

来る。 As explained above in the embodiments, according to the present invention, the selection of documents to be stored in the accept stacker and reject stacker is performed by stopping the read document once, and advancing the document for which the accept command has been received, and then issuing the reject command. The received form can be accepted by retracting it.
By adopting a structure in which the document reading device is accommodated in a stacker, the form reading device can be made smaller, and it is also possible to use it as a tabletop device. Furthermore, the structure can be simplified and made cheaper.
