Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 (以下利用分野、従来技術等発明の目的) 本発明は、低温液体、例えば液化天然ガス(以
下LNGという)を貯蔵する貯槽内に於いて、自
然蒸発により発生するガス(以下BOGという)
を一時的に減少させる方法に係るものである。従
来、例えば需要等の減少により、貯槽内BOGの
量を一時的に減少する必要が生じた場合、その
BOGを貯槽1内から取出してそれを冷却液化装
置により液化していた。このため設備費高くなる
上に、液化装置の運転維持にも費用がかかり、コ
ストアツプにもつながつていた。本発明は、貯槽
内で発生したBOGを同一貯槽内の液化ガス中に
混入することにより、液化するようにしたもので
あり、以つて前記した従来の欠点を一挙に解決し
たものである。
以下図について詳述すると次の通りである。
(以下発明の構成作用) 図に於いて、符号1は、例えばLNGを貯蔵す
る貯槽であつて、該貯槽1内には、その上部に
BOG吸引部Aを設けると共にその下部にはBOG
排出部Bを設けたBOG混入手段Cを設ける構成
とする。第1図の実施例に於いては、BOG吸引
部Aは、排出管4、コンプレツサ5、ガス量コン
トロール弁6並びにBOG噴射管3等を介して、
ノズル2として構成したBOG排出管Bと接続し
た例であり、かかる構成によりBOG混入手段C
が構成される。第2図は、貯槽1内の縦方向にエ
ジエクタ8を設置し、このエジエクタ8の上端部
をBOG吸引部Aに構成すると共に前記エジエク
タ8の下端部をBOG排出部Bに構成し、前記エ
ジエクタ8の上端部にはLNGをエジエクタ8内
に噴出するLNG噴出管13を装置してBOG混入
手段Cが構成される例である。しかして、第1図
に於いて、例えば、一時的にBOG発生量を減少
する必要が生じた場合、コンプレツサ5によつて
貯槽1内のBOGを、BOG吸引部Aから吸引し、
それをコントロール弁6を介して噴射管3に導
き、BOG排出部Bであるノズル2から液化ガス
中に噴射混入すると、液化ガスによつてBOGは
冷却されて液化する。BOGの混入によつて液化
ガス7は加熱されるが、液化ガスの熱容量が大き
いため、液温の上昇はゆるやかであり、液化ガス
の発生量の増加は微増であり、一時的にはBOG
の量を減少することができる。第2図は、LNG
噴出管13から、エジエクタ8内に、エジエクタ
流量制御弁9を介して、液化ガスを噴出させ、エ
ジエクタ8内の圧力を貯槽1内のBOGの圧力よ
りも下げることによつて、図中矢印の通り、
BOGを吸引して液化ガス7中にBOGを混入し液
化する方法である。エジエクタ8に噴出する液化
ガスは、液化ガス取出管10からその一部を取出
して行うものである。本発明は実操業に於いて、
例えば60000Kl貯槽でタンカーより受け入れをし
ている場合に於いて、本発明を適用しない場合に
は貯槽外に於いて約8000Nm3/hのBOGを液化処
理しなければならなかつたが、本発明のように貯
槽内で液化処理すると、貯槽外に於けるBOGの
液化処理量は、一時的に約0Nm3/h〜7000Nm3
hに減少させることができた。11は液化ガス送
出ポンプである。以上の第1図及び第2図に於い
て、液化ガス取出管10からジエツトミキシング
ノズル12へ、液化ガスの一部を導き、貯槽1内
の液化ガス中へ液化ガスを噴出させて液化ガス7
の表面温度を下げてBOGの発生を抑制する方法
を併用してもよい。
(以下発明の効果) 本発明は以上の通りであるので、貯槽とは別個
に冷却液化装置を設ける必要がなく、従つてそれ
の設備維持費用がなくなるだけでなく、簡単な操
作で且つ短時間でBOGの量を減少することがで
き、一時的にBOGの量を減少する事態に即応で
きる大きなメリツトがある。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 1 貯槽内の上部にBOG吸引部を設けると共に
    前記貯槽内下部にはBOG排出部を設けたBOG混
    入手段を貯槽内に設け、貯槽内で発生したBOG
    を、前記BOG混入手段により、同一貯槽内の液
    化ガス中に混入することにより液化して、一時的
    にタンク内のBOGの量を減少させることを特徴
    とする貯槽内液化ガスのBOG量減少方法。
