送給されて所定の位置に停止し、タイプライタで
所定事項が印字されると、排出返却されるように
なつている。この種の装置において、自動吸入さ
れた用紙の停止位置の検出は、用紙上に記入され
た停止マークを検出することにより行つている
が、この停止マークとして例えば前回の印字位置
の文字等を利用する場合には、停止マークの検出
で用紙を停止させ、直ちに印字動作に移ることは
装置の設計、製作上の制約条件が多く、好ましく
ない場合が多い。又、装置によつてはタイプライ
タによる印字位置の直前に停止マーク読取器を設
置することが構造上困難で、印字位置より適当な
距離だけ上方に停止マーク読取器を設置しなけれ
ばならない場合があり、この場合にも、停止マー
クを検出したことで直ちに用紙を停止させて印字
動作に移ることはできない。このため、従来は停
止マーク検出信号で単安定回路等のタイマ回路を
動作させ、所定時間経過したら用紙の送りを停止
させるか(特開昭49―131732号)、或いは、用紙
の送りに連動させて同期パルスを発生させ、停止
マーク検出信号で該同期パルスの計数を開始し、
その計数値と予め定めた設定値とを比較一致回路
で比較し、一致したとき用紙の送りを停止させる
(特開昭49―116923号)等の方法をとつている。
しかし、前者の方法は用紙の送り速度等の変動に
より停止位置すなわち印字位置がずれるという欠
点があり、後者の方法は用紙の単位移動距離当り
の同期パルスの数の多少が停止位置の調整精度に
影響し、同期パルス発生器やカウンタの自由度が
狭まるという欠点があつた。

信号S5で該モータの駆動を停止せしめる信号S2
送出するモータ駆動回路である。5は用紙10に
記入された停止マーク(通常は前回印字された文
字あるいは記号等が利用される)を読取る停止マ
ーク読取器、6は停止マーク読取器5の出力S6
波形整形して停止マーク検出信号S7を得る停止マ
ーク検出器である。7は例えば単安定回路と微分
回路よりなる時定数回路で、第2図に示すように
停止マーク検出信号S7に対して時間Tだけ遅延し
た信号S8を出力するものである。更に、この時定
数回路7を構成する単安定回路には例えば可変抵
抗を使用し、これにより遅延幅Tが微調整できる
ようになつている。8は時定数回路7より信号S8

力される。第2図は信号S7とS8の時間関係を示し
たものである。この信号S8の到来により計数指令
回路8がセツトされ、その結果、計数開始を指令
する信号S9が“1”となり、カウンタ2は同期パ
ルス発生器1から出力されている同期パルスの計
数を開始する。その後、カウンタ2の計数値S3
2進数変換回路9を通して外部より与えられる距
離設定信号S4と一致すると、比較一致回路3は一
致信号S5を出力する。モータ駆動回路4は上記一
致信号S5の到来によりモータ12の駆動を止め、
