It is well known that the warp yarns to be woven into a fabric are pasted, and an example of a conventional warp pasting device is shown in FIG. is immersed in the size solution in the size tank C to adhere the glue to the surface of the warp threads, and then squeezed with a squeezing roll D so that a fixed amount of the size solution is applied, and then passed through a heat cylinder. There is a warp sizing device that winds up these warp threads onto a beam F after drying them by contacting and guiding the warp threads E.
There are other warp thread sizing devices with various structures, but in any of the warp thread sizing devices, the warp threads are immersed in a sizing solution and then squeezed out using squeezing rolls. As a result, there were the following drawbacks. First, there is fluff on the surface of the warp yarns, and this fluff causes unevenness in the amount of glue applied to the surface of the yarn led out from the size tank. In other words, the fluffy area will contain a large amount of glue due to the siphon phenomenon, and the glue will become patchy.
The warp threads had poor slippage and were likely to break during weaving. The second reason is that the warp yarns impregnated with size liquid are squeezed with a squeeze roll, so the squeezing pressure from the squeeze roll is different between both ends and the center of the roll, and therefore it is uniform on all warp yarns. Strictly speaking, the parts where the warp threads are pressed by the squeezing rolls are relatively squeezed, and the parts where the warp threads are not pressed, that is, the opposing surfaces of adjacent threads, are squeezed between the opposing warp threads. The size liquid is interposed in a capillary phenomenon, and the amount of glue attached is large, and the glue is not evenly attached to the circumferential surface of the warp threads, causing problems such as thread breakage when weaving cloth. Ta.

The present invention has been made in order to eliminate such drawbacks, and provides a continuous sizing device that can uniformly apply sizing to the circumferential surface of warp threads.
That is, the present invention removes the fuzz on the surface of the warp threads, and then brings the warp threads into contact with a liquid retention roll coated with a constant amount of sizing liquid, thereby transferring the sizing liquid on the surface of the liquid retention roll to the warp yarns. This invention relates to a warp sizing device that can uniformly apply a sizing liquid to the surface of warp threads.

Reference numeral 1 denotes a group of multiple beams, and a large number of warp yarns 2 drawn out from this group of beams are aligned through a warper 3 and then supplied into a gas burner 4. Each warp thread 2 in an aligned state in this gas wool burning machine 4
The fluff on the surface of the warp yarn is burned by the flame of the gas burner 5, and the burnt yarn is removed by the suction nozzle 6, and the yarn is led out from the gas yarn burner 4 with a smooth surface. Ru. A large number of warp yarns drawn out from the gas burning machine 4 are guided to a sizing machine 7. This sizing machine 7 has a fabric guide drum 9 rotatably supported by a frame 8, an engraving roll 10 in contact with this guide drum, and a part of the sizing machine 7 in contact with this engraving roll 10. The size liquid 12 is applied to the surface of the engraving roll 10 by the liquid application roll 11 which is immersed in the liquid application roll 11, and a fixed amount of the size liquid applied to the surface of the engraving roll is further guided to the guide drum 9. This transfer is applied to the warp threads 2. 13 is a dryer for drying the warp threads coated with size liquid;
A large number of heat cylinders 14 are arranged within this dryer 13. Reference numeral 15 is a rod for separating each dried warp thread, and the rod guides adjacent warp threads vertically and alternately, and is rotated by an appropriate driving means in accordance with the advancing speed of the warp threads. be.

The above is an embodiment of the present invention.Next, to describe its operation, a large number of warps 2 arranged by a warper 3 pass through a hair burning machine 4, so that the surface of each warp is The fuzz is burned off and the warp surface becomes smooth. Next, the warp threads are always brought into contact with the engraving roll 10 to which a certain amount of size liquid is applied, so that the size liquid on the surface of the engraving roll 10 is transferred and applied to the warp threads. Therefore, by preparing in advance an engraving roll that holds a desired amount of glue, a certain amount of glue can be applied to the warp threads without using a squeezing mechanism. The warp yarns to which a certain amount of glue has been applied in this way pass through a timing roll 16, are dried by a dryer 13, and then each warp yarn is separated by a rod 15 and then wound up.

As described above, the present invention has the effect that the fuzz of each warped warp is burned off by the hair burning device and a lake is imparted to the smoothed warp, so that the surface of the warp can be glued uniformly. Furthermore, since the sizing machine always brings the engraved roll coated with a certain amount of liquid evenly onto the warp threads and transfers the sizing liquid on the engraved roll to the warp threads, the sizing machine always maintains a constant amount of liquid without using a squeezing mechanism. The effect is that the glue is applied to the warp threads. Also, since each warp thread leaving the dryer is separated by the rotating rod 15, each warp thread is separated by the rotating rod 15.
There is less friction between the warp yarns and the surface of the warp yarns, which can be folded without damaging them.
