の完成に手数を要するものであつた。 When burying underground conduits connected by such type of underdrain joints using the shield method or propulsion method, a thrust force is applied to the underdrain in the direction of the pipe axis, so it is necessary to install a strut between the two anchoring members. This is used to prevent damage to the underdrain joints. However, conventionally, after a culvert is buried underground, the struts are removed from between the anchoring members, and a load-bearing member or the like is interposed between the anchoring members. For this reason, in the past, it took a lot of effort to complete the joint of the underdrain.

ものである。 The object of the present invention is to provide a joint for an underdrain that solves this problem, in which strut members are attached to the opposing surfaces of both anchoring members, and the opposing surfaces of both strut members are brought into contact with each other. This structure allows the strut members to receive thrust in the direction of the pipe axis during the propulsion method, and after burial, the strut members are left as they are as load-bearing members.

Both ends thereof are watertightly attached to the inner peripheral surfaces of the cylindrical portions 5a and 5'a with bolts and nuts. The strut members 7, 7' have side surfaces 7a, 7b, 7'a, 7'
b, and is formed into a cross-sectional shape by connecting portions 7c and 7'c. The side surfaces 7a, 7'a are attached to the annular plates 5b, 5'b of the anchoring members 5, 5' with the nuts 9, 9' of the bolts 8, 8'.
and its opposite side surface 7b,
7'b are brought into contact with each other. The strut members 7, 7' are arranged as a pair with opposing strut members 7, 7' being spaced apart from each other in the circumferential direction. The connecting portions 7c and 7'c are arranged flush. Reference numeral 10 denotes a skin plate that is loosely fitted to the outer peripheral surfaces of the collars 3 and 3'. This skin plate 1
0, one end edge is welded all around to the circumferential surface of the collar 3,
The other end edge is spot welded to the circumferential surface of the collar 3'. 13, 13' are members having slipping properties, for example,
It is made of Teflon, polyethylene, polycarbonate, silicone, nylon, etc., and is fixed to at least one opposing side surface of the side surfaces 7b, 7'b of the strut members 7, 7' to prevent relative movement due to uneven settlement between the underdrains 1, 1'. This is done so that it can be done smoothly.

In this propulsion method, the abutted side surfaces 7b, 7'b of the strut members 7, 7' are connected by bolts 11 and nuts 12. In this state, the underdrains 1 and 1' are press-fitted into the ground at the bottom of the shaft using a hydraulic jack, and then the earth and sand inside is removed. By performing these operations one after another, a culvert of a certain length is formed. After a continuous underdrain of a certain length is formed in this way, bolts 11 and nuts 1 are inserted from the strut members 7 and 7'.
By removing 2, the underdrain joint 2 is completed.
On the other hand, as mentioned above, the ground in which the underdrains 1 and 1' are buried settles unevenly, and a displacement force acts on the underdrains 1 and 1' in the direction of separating them from each other, causing the welded portion of the skin plate 10 to the collar 3' to When they separate, the underdrains 1 and 1' separate from each other, but the flexible water stopper member 6 follows this and expands, and as the ground settles unevenly, the underdrain joint 2 stretches and undergoes shear deformation. .

This culvert joint 2 can also be applied to culverts made of materials other than concrete. For example, the underdrain joint 2 may be applied to an underdrain made of steel or cast iron, or made of steel or cast iron and concrete.

これらの点は、暗渠の継手2も同様である。 Further, the cross-sectional shape of the underdrains 1 and 1' is not limited to a circle, but may be an ellipse, a quadrilateral, or a polygon. Moreover, the underdrains 1 and 1' may be formed as a single piece or may be constructed by combining divided members.
These points also apply to the underdrain joint 2.

It may have any shape as long as it can expand and contract with the relative displacement of 5' and maintain the water-stopping function. As explained above, in the present invention, anchoring members are attached to opposite ends of a pair of underdrains to be connected, and a flexible water-stopping member made of rubber, synthetic resin, etc. is installed between both anchoring members. The strut members are installed on the opposing surfaces of both anchoring members inside the flexible water-stopping member, and the opposing surfaces of the strut members are brought into contact with each other, so that the propulsion method can be used. When burying a culvert, the strut member can be used as a thrust receiver, and after burying, the strut member can be left as is and used as a load-bearing member to support the deformation of the flexible water-stopping member into the culvert due to external pressure such as earth pressure or water pressure. The number of steps required to complete a joint can be reduced compared to the conventional method.
