Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は段ボール等よりなる箱のコーナ部にお
いて側板端部のフラツプを他方の側板に重ねて固
定する箱の組立に有効なコーナホルダーを提供し
ようとするものである。

一般に箱の組み立ては、前記コーナ部のフラツ
プをステツチ,糊貼り等によつて固定している
が、このような組み立てによると、箱の分解が不
可能であり、運搬時において不都合である。

このようなことから、第7図に示すようなコー
ナホルダー1を開発してきた。このコーナホルダ
ー1は、帯状の可撓片2と、前記可撓片2の両端
に一体に設けられた差し込み体3,3′によりな
つている。前記各差し込み体3,3′は外形がほ
ぼU字体の基板4.4′をもち、前記基板4,
4′は外側が開口した嵌合溝5,5′を形成してい
る。前記可撓片2は上縁に複数のリブ6を有し、
また基板4,4′の上端よりも低い位置に結合さ
れてなり、第8図に示すように箱7のコーナ部に
おけるフラツプ8,9を他方の側板に重ね合わせ
た部分に嵌合溝5,5′をはみ合わせ、第9図に
示すように装着して箱を組み立てるものである。
ところで、第9図のごとく組み立てられた複数の
箱7,7′は積み上げ可能にするために箱7,
7′の下方部の外形を小さくして下方の箱7に対
し嵌まり合うようにしている。この積み上げ時に
おいて段ボール箱については、下方の箱7に装着
されたコーナホルダー1に設けられた可撓片2お
よびリブ6は上方の箱7′の下方部を乗せるもの
であり、その際コーナホルダー1に形成されたU
字体の基板4,4′に上方の箱7′の下方部に当た
り、箱8′の表皮が剥離する可能性があり、箱
7′の強度が低下する問題があつた。また、U字
体の基板4,4′に上方の箱7′の下方部に当たり
箱7′の積み上げ作業がスムーズにできなく作業
がしにくいものであつた。そしてまた、上方の箱
7′の荷重はコーナホルダー1に形成された差し
込み体3,3′の下面部10,10′と当接した箱
7の嵌合溝底面部11,11′に荷重が加わり、
つまり前記の嵌合溝底部11,11′の一部のみ
で荷重が加圧され安定した強度が得られない問題
があつた。
