ドアとを別々に塗装する方法が採られていた。 Generally, a sliding door assembled into this type of vehicle body is once attached to the vehicle body during a welding process to confirm the installation, and then transferred in that state to the next painting process. When applying electro-deposition or spray painting to a car body with a sliding door during the painting process, if the car body is painted with the sliding door attached, the areas where the sliding door and the car body overlap cannot be sufficiently coated. Furthermore, since painting work is troublesome, the conventional method was to remove the sliding door from the car body, place it at the front or rear side of the car body on the painting line, and paint the car body and sliding door separately. It was getting worse.

問題があつた。 However, in the conventional painting method described above, the sliding door and the car body are separated and painted separately, so the color and texture of the painted surfaces of the car body and the sliding door are slightly different little by little, and the quality of the painting deteriorates. However, there was a problem that production management was complicated and productivity was poor.

By painting the car body while temporarily attached so that it can be rotated, the sliding door can be painted simultaneously with the car body in the same way as other hinged doors, thereby improving painting quality and productivity. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method of painting a vehicle body with a sliding door that enables the following.

The vehicle body side mounting piece 7 is formed by integrally fixing a shaft cylinder 7b extending in the vertical direction to the center part of the front side of a board 7a which is bent into a substantially U-shape in the vertical direction. A through hole 7c is drilled, and a pin 7d is provided protruding from the back surface of the lower end, and the distance between the through hole 7c and the pin 7d is set to be the same as the distance between the upper and lower mounting holes in the stopper. . Moreover, on the upper edge of the shaft cylinder 7b,
A pair of cutouts 7e, 7e are formed in the outer semicircumferential portion thereof so as to be inclined downward from the center position where the distance from the substrate 7a is maximum to the substrate 7a side. .

A shaft rod 8c that can be inserted into the shaft tube 7b is integrally provided, and a through hole 8 is provided at the upper end of the substrate 8a.
A pin 8e is provided protruding from the back surface of the lower end, and the distance between the through hole 8d and the pin 8e is set to be the same as the distance between the upper and lower mounting holes in the stopper. Further, the length of the shaft rod 8c is set to be slightly larger for the hinge member 6 used at the upper stopper mounting position than for the hinge member 6 used at the lower stopper mounting position.

である。 When the sliding door 3 is temporarily attached to a portion of the front wall 5 of the sliding door opening 4 of the vehicle body 1 corresponding to the mounting position of the stopper using such hinge members 6, 6, the steps shown in FIGS. As shown in FIG. 3, first, insert the pin 7d at the lower end of the base plate 7a of the vehicle body side mounting piece 7 into the lower side of the pair of upper and lower stopper mounting holes (not shown) provided in the front wall 5. The vehicle body side mounting piece 7 is attached to the vehicle body by fitting and locking it into the mounting hole, aligning the through hole 7c at the upper end of the board 7a with the upper mounting hole, inserting the bolt 9, and tightening it with the nut 10. Attach to. In addition, the door-side mounting piece 8 is attached to the front edge of the sliding door 3 at a portion corresponding to the stopper mounting position, similarly to the vehicle body-side mounting piece 7, at the lower end of the base plate 8a, a pin 8e is attached. It is attached by locking or, in the case of the upper end of the board 8a, by fastening with bolts 11 and nuts 12. Thereafter, the shaft rod 8c of each door-side mounting piece 8 is inserted into the shaft cylinder 7b of the corresponding vehicle-side mounting piece 7 from above, thereby supporting the sliding door 3 on the vehicle body so as to be rotatably openable and closable. It is.

Moreover, the door mounting piece 8 of the hinge member 6 located on the upper side
Since the length of the shaft rod 8c is slightly larger than that of the lower hinge member 6, the lower end of the shaft rod 8c of the upper hinge member 6 is inserted into the shaft tube 7b of the mounting piece 7 on the vehicle body side. The shaft rod 8c of the lower hinge member 6 can be inserted and inserted into the shaft cylinder 7b of the vehicle body side mounting piece 7 in a state where the shaft rods 8c, 8c are fitted and locked.
There is no need for the trouble of simultaneously fitting and inserting the slide door 3 into the shaft cylinders 7b, 7b, and therefore the temporary attachment work of the slide door 3 can be easily performed.

By sliding the top surface of the notch 7e and engaging with the edge of the notch 7e, the notch 7e is always kept open. Therefore, there is no overlapping part between the vehicle body 1 and the sliding door 3, and it is possible to thoroughly paint every corner of the vehicle body 1 and the sliding door 3, and the sliding door 3 will not be accidentally damaged due to vibrations during transportation. It is possible to prevent it from rotating and coming into contact with the vehicle body 1.
