Incidentally, even during surgery or normal intravenous treatment, anesthetics, cardiotonic agents, etc. may be separately administered in order to manage the patient's condition. In such cases, conventional methods include attaching a three-way valve to some of the IV tubes and switching the valve to administer other drugs, or inserting a syringe needle into the IV tube or Y-shaped tube and injecting the syringe. was taken. This method has the problem of accidentally injecting air bubbles into the drip tube during operation, and because it is common to use an extension tube, the onset of drug efficacy is delayed. In order to avoid this drawback, the infusion rate is sometimes increased, but even after the onset of drug efficacy, the infusion rate is often left carelessly unattended.

The specific structure is that one end of the hollow main body is provided with an inlet opening for connecting the main pipe, the other end is provided with an outlet opening for connecting the injection needle directly or indirectly, and the side body of the main body is A side pipe opening for connecting a side pipe cord is formed, and a check valve is provided at least on the inlet opening side within the main body.

Reference numeral 1 designates an infusion adapter according to the present invention, to which an infusion tube 2 for supplying infusion liquid a is connected to one end, and an injection needle 3 is attached to the other end. Of course, the injection needle 3 may be attached directly or may be attached via a tube. This drip adapter 1 has, for example, a spindle-shaped hollow body 4 as its main component. The main body 4 is made of plastic or the like by injection molding or blow molding, and has one end as an inlet opening 5 to which the drip tube 2 is connected. On the other hand, the other end is an outlet opening 6 to which the injection needle 3 is connected. Further, a side tube opening 7 to which a side cord C is connected is projected from this side body. Furthermore, a check valve 8 for opening and closing the inlet opening 5 is provided inside the main body 4. This valve uses a ball valve as an example, and uses the aperture surface on the inlet opening side of the inner surface of the main body 4 as a valve seat 9, and has a regulating projection on the inner surface of the main body 4 so as to regulate the movement of the ball. form 10.
Furthermore, a check valve 11 is provided on the outlet opening side, and this is provided to prevent backflow when exhaust pressure is applied. This valve uses a so-called ball valve, in which the inside of the main body 4 protrudes like an inner flange to serve as a valve seat 12, and the flow path is closed by contact between the valve seat 12 and the valve seat 12. Furthermore, this valve 11
A regulating protrusion 13 is formed on the inner surface of the main body 4 in order to regulate the range of movement.

First, in the preparation stage, the drip tube 2 pulled out from the infusion bottle is inserted into the inlet opening 5, the injection needle 3 is attached to the outlet opening 6 side, and the drug solution for side tube intravenous injection is connected to the side tube cord C. It is something to keep. In this way, when it is acceptable to mix the intravenous solution and another drug solution for intravenous injection into the side tube, the drug solution is injected from both sides. On the other hand, if the drugs should be supplied separately, the normal infusion is stopped and the side tube intravenous drug solution is administered only from the side tube cord C. That is, in this case, the drip tube 2 should be closed halfway with a clip or the like, or the stopper of the drip tube should be closed to cut off the supply from the drip tube 2, and the drug solution should be injected with the side tube cord C side open. be. When this is done, since there is hydraulic pressure from the side pipe cord C, pressure is also applied inside the main body 4, and the check valve 8 on the inlet opening 5 side is pressed against the inlet opening 5 side to keep it in a closed state. That is, this also stops the supply of intravenous fluid from the intravenous tube 2. On the other hand, in this state, no back pressure is built up, so the check valve 11 on the outlet opening 6 side
is in an open state, and the side tube intravenous drug solution that has flowed into the main body 4 is administered into the body through the outlet opening 6.

It is of course possible to provide two or more side tube openings so that a plurality of types of medicinal solutions can be administered.
