布して自然乾燥によつて固化し、ワツクス系防錆
剤によるマスキング14を施す。しかる後に電着
塗装11を施し、常法により水洗並びに乾燥す
る。本実施例におけるワツクス系防錆剤は、精選
アスフアルトを基材に、石油系溶剤を溶媒として
希釈分散させ、防錆添加剤を配合した低粘度の液
状のものである。(JIS K2246−1980溶剤希釈形
錆止め油 1種 NP−1 相当) この板金部品10は前記した通り補給用あるい
は組付構成部品としてストツク並びに出荷輸送さ
れ、組立工場にて自動車車体の完成品に組立てら
れる。その際のスポツト溶接前にマスキング14
をワツクス系防錆剤の溶解に適した有機溶剤(例
えばシンナー)で溶かして拭き取つて除去し、ス
ポツト溶接予定部10aに板金部品10の地金を
露出させてスポツト溶接装置により溶接結合する
のである。
