In general, an air motion boat has a skirt surrounding the bottom of the main body to form a compartment, and air blown by a fan is introduced into the compartment to float and travel. More specifically, as shown in a partially sectional view in FIG. A section B is formed by the skirt 2. A levitation fan 3 is provided in the center of the main body 1, and the fan 3 is composed of hollow blades and is driven by an engine (not shown) located in the engine room through a gear mechanism, etc., and the air is supplied to the compartment B. It will be introduced in 4 is a propulsion propeller, and 5 is an air rudder.

By the way, in the case of air-cushion boats, it is important to improve maneuverability during hovering at land bases or landing sites where space is limited, and to maintain a position where the front boat section is slightly floating compared to the rear boat section when hovering. It was desired to prevent wear on the rear skirt, especially when hovering on land.

The purpose of this invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems in land maneuvering of conventional air-action boats, and to provide a foldable wheel device at the rear bottom of the boat to prevent wear of the rear skirt and improve maneuverability on land. An object of the present invention is to provide an improved steering device for an air-action boat.

A land-based watercraft maneuvering device of the present invention that achieves the above object is an air-motion boat equipped with an air rudder, and a pair of left and right wheel devices that can be folded freely via a hydraulic device are provided at the rear of the bottom of the air-motion boat. One of the wheels is grounded to improve the turning maneuverability of the boat when hovering on land.
A feature of the boat is that both wheels are grounded at the same time to prevent wear on the rear skirt of the boat when hovering on land.

Fig. 2 is a schematic partial cross-sectional view of the structure of the rear bottom of an air-cushion boat, seen from the side, in which the main strut 7, which is configured to be foldable by a hydraulic cylinder 8 from the bottom plate 9, is directed downward from the rear skirt. A pair of left and right wheel devices is constructed such that the main strut 7 is provided with a wheel equipped with a rubber tire 6 at the tip thereof, and the rubber tire 6 projects downwardly and outwardly from the skirt 2.

FIG. 3 is a schematic partial cross-sectional view of the structure of the rear bottom of the air-cushion boat, this time seen from the front. Similarly to FIG. 2, the main strut 7 is provided from the bottom plate 9 toward the bottom of the skirt. However, it can be seen that a pair of rubber tires 6 are provided by a pair of left and right main struts 7, which are arranged on both sides of the rear bottom of the boat and protrude outward from the bottom of the skirt. In addition, the main strut 7 has side force struts 71, 7 on the left and right, as shown in Fig. 3.

FIG. 4 is a partial schematic diagram showing the installation relationship of the rubber tires 6 and the main struts 7 to the bottom plate 9 at the rear bottom of the boat, and when the main struts 7 are in the position shown by the solid line, the rubber tires 6 are moved to the outside under the rear skirt. The rubber tires 6 protrude and act as legs supporting the rear of the boat, and when the main struts 7 are in the position shown by dotted lines, they are inserted into the recesses 91 of the bottom plate 9.
This shows the state where the wheel device is stored, that is, the state where the wheel device is stored. It is the hydraulic cylinder 8 whose tip rod is connected to the main strut 7 that operates both the loading and unloading positions of the wheel device shown by solid lines and dotted lines. The wheel device is foldable.

As described above, the land boat maneuvering device of the present invention is an air-motion boat equipped with an air rudder, and a pair of left and right wheel devices that can be folded freely via a hydraulic device are provided at the rear of the bottom of the air-motion boat. By grounding only one of the wheels, the single-side device can be used as an axis when turning to change the direction of the boat on land, and can produce a pivoting effect. By simultaneously using a pair of wheel devices on both sides of the boat, it is possible to prevent wear on the skirt at the rear of the boat when hovering on land.
